"I'm surprised you ventured all the way out here without your bodyguard brothers and boyfriend," Kane remarked, circling Zayra.
"I-" Zayra sighed and shook her head. "I'll admit, in the past I have been...weaker. But I am not only a planet guardian. I am the guardian of the time of this dimension, and so long as I have my powers, I will leave here with my problem with you resolved."
Kane laughed. "You? The guardian of time? That's overstating your abilities a bit, isn't it?"
Zayra sighed slightly and shrugged. "Not really, but it doesn't matter to me if you believe me."
Kane shook his head. "So, what are we going to do about our problem?"
"You need to stop attacking the outer planets," Zayra stated firmly.
Kane laughed. "And why would I do that?"
"Because if you don't, it leads to a future in which you are seriously hurt," Zayra stated. "If you stop now and leave our galaxy alone, we will mutually benefit from your decision."
Kane shook his head. "Yeah, right. You make up a lot of stuff, don't you?"
Zayra narrowed her eyes and fast forwarded them through time, showing him the fight of retaliation by the galaxy against him, in which he is seriously injured, just as she said.
Kane's eyes widened and he tried to run over and help himself.
Zayra grabbed his arm and brought them back to the present. "You cannot interfere with anything but the present. So, do you want to reconsider?"
Kane yanked his arm away. "You're crazy!"
He scowled and disappeared.
Zayra sighed and rubbed her head. "I hope that was a yes..."
She also disappeared.
