Sadia appeared back at home and flopped on the couch, munching some of the snacks she had made for them to share.
"What's wrong?" Camilla asked, raising an eyebrow. "I thought you were going to spend time with Hayes."
Sadia shrugged. "He doesn't care about Christmas, so..."
Camilla smiled slightly and shook her head. "It's hard to celebrate with people when you've lived so long-"
"That's what everyone keeps saying!" Sadia huffed.
"It'll take some adjustment, but... You'll get used to it. You might even be like that one day," Camilla suggested.
"No way! And ugh, being old sounds awful..." Sadia sighed.
Camilla laughed. "It's not all bad... Now come on. You're not just going to sit there and sulk, kid. You're coming with me."
She pulled Sadia off to get ready.
