Landon watched from a window in Quinn's home office as Julia walked in. "She goes out a lot, isn't she?"
Quinn shrugged, working on paperwork. "She's young... And she's adjusting rather well."
Landon sighed. "And Crystal... She also goes out quite often too, correct?"
Landon looked up, raising an eyebrow. "Yes, and your point is...?"
"Both of them seem to get along quite well with Aspen... I don't like her. Something about her is dangerous... They could be compromising you, or worse...me."
Quinn rolled his eyes. "Relax. Crystal's too dumb to figure out what I do most of the time, and I doubt Julia really cares that much about my career."
Landon huffed. "Fine... For now, at least. I'm watching them though."
"Why don't you watch your own kids? Didn't you abandon your son?" Quinn asked.
Landon shrugged. "He was weak, so I left him. Perhaps I'll rescue him in time... As for the rest of my children, my twin sons have powers and my daughter is...well, nevermind." He missed her, but Quinn had no business knowing that. "Anyway, your children are close to this whole scheme and they're the ones who concern me. My children are oblivious."
Quinn gave him a look. "I'll worry about them, thank you."
"Fine, but make sure they don't mess up," Landon huffed.
Quinn got a call and answered it. "Hello?"
"Mr. Meadows, sir... I think Ginger figured out I was spying on Charles," Ray explained worriedly.
Landon's eyes widened, and he smirked. "I'll take care of her."
"What?! No! Don't let him!" Ray protested.
"Relax, Ray. Where is she? Is she still at home?" Quinn asked calmly.
"No, she's gone..." Ray frowned. "I told you this was a mistake!"
"You're right. I severely overestimated you, your commitment, and your priorities... I should've picked someone to marry her who wouldn't get so...attached. Ginger will be taken care of."
"NO-!" Ray began.
Quinn hung up and nodded to Landon, who quickly left. By that point, Ginger already made it safely to Nina's house. She would be safer there than at her home... Especially with Landon out to stop her from telling what happened.
