"Ender, stop!" André said, hurrying after him, grabbing his shoulder, and turning him around. "What is up with you?"
Ender sighed. "The memories of my life are too painful... The things I've messed up... The people I hurt... It wasn't all Ian's fault. It was mine too. Maybe if...maybe if you did it, I would become a new person. A better person."
André crossed his arms. "Ender, you can't just run away from your problems."
"I don't want to run anymore... I just want to start over... Enderen Dragon Ramira is the worst version of myself. Please, André. I want to start over. There's no good that can come from me. All I do is hurt the people I care about over and over... It would be better for everyone if I was different. Please..."
André looked at him for several moments then sighed. "Your family is going to hurt me..."
"Is that a yes?" Ender asked hopefully.
"It's a 'fine.' It's your life... Are you sure there isn't anything you want to say to anyone first?" André asked.
"There is. Give this to Arcadia..." Ender handed him a letter. "I'm ready now."
André sighed. "Are you sure, Ender? No one is beyond saving. Not even you."
"I'm sure," Ender replied.
André hesitated then nodded. "Goodbye, Ender."
"Bye...thank you..."
André closed his eyes and reopened them, now galaxy. He then put his hands on Ender's head and did his magic...
