Julia shakily teleported to Nate, falling on her face when she got there.
"Whoa! Hey... Val-Julia...uh...whoever...are you okay?" Nate rushed over.
Julia coughed and shook her head. "Nate, listen to me... Julia has lost control of herself. I'm growing stronger as we have shared energy, but I'm taking too much of hers. You have to either get me out or take the necklace off."
"Can't I just take it off?" Nate asked.
Julia sighed. "It's...more of a last resort. If you do that, Julia loses her memories of her time with me and I will lose all of my energy. I'll be in a sort of...coma, from what I can tell. But if it comes to it, do it. But if at all possible..."
"Got it," Nate nodded.
He quickly went to work, trying several different approaches. Nothing worked and Julia grew weaker... Finally, he had a very bad idea, but it could work... He ran over and got a small amount of anti.
He took a deep breath. "Here goes everything..."
Julia's eyes rolled in the back of her head.
Nate's eyes widened and he checked her pulse. It was too slow... He couldn't wait any longer... He quickly took off the necklace. The crystal faded in color from a crystal blue to black. He set it down and dumped some anti on it. He hoped this would work... He checked Julia's pulse again and it had somewhat returned to normal... He sighed in relief and returned her home. He then came back and focused on Val.
"Come on, Val..." Nate sighed. "We need you."
The anti finally blocked Teresa's power over the necklace and Val appeared. Nate quickly got rid of the anti and kneeled beside her.
"Val! Val...?" Nate frowned. "Oh boy..." He sighed and picked her up, carrying her to the couch and setting her down. "Please wake up soon... We need you."
