Val appeared, glaring harshly over Elysia's new surface. "Monica, Ridley, show yourselves."
The two planet guardians had remade the planet after Stella destroyed it. And now... They had Mabel. Val called her May for short... Stella decided to create a planet guardian of her own not too long ago, so the Elysian planet guardians took this as an opportunity for revenge.
"Hello, Valentina... Have your memories back yet?" Ridley smirked, raising an eyebrow.
Valentina huffed. "I do. Now... Give the kid back, Ridley. She doesn't have anything to do with what Stella did to Elysia."
"Sure, maybe it isn't her fault... But it hurts Stella," Ridley replied, shrugging. "What are you going to do, exile me? That's such a stupid power to be given to the likes of you."
Val narrowed her eyes. "Ridley, you know you don't stand a chance against me. Just give the kid back, and I won't beat you up."
Ridley tapped his chin in mock thought then threw a blast at her. "No thanks!"
Val cast it aside. It hit the ground and exploded. She didn't seem phased, walking closer to him. Her eyes began to glow.
Ridley's eyes widened as he backed away. "So, the monster lives..."
Val stopped, glow fading. "I-...I'm not a monster..."
Monica appeared and slammed Val into a rock. "See, that's your weakness. You hold on so much to the idea that you're a good person. You even went as far as to erase your memory so you could forget your guilt. Forget the time where you were the bane of the galaxies... Worse than Teresa or either of us. Worse than even Grant. You'd be better off just embracing the fact that you are a monster, Valentina. You can erase your memory all you want, but you can't erase your past."
Val winced and stood, sighing. "Yes, I was a bad person. And I'm sorry for those times... The times when I was darkness... But I am not that girl anymore. My only goal here is to get May back. You are the villians here. She has nothing to do with what Stella, Teresa, and I have done or what grudges we might have. Fight us, leave her out of this."
"She was bait to even the playing field," Monica smirked. "You're on our planet now. This ends now."
Monica and Ridley teamed up on Val, fighting her with everything they had. Val held back, not wanting to hurt them. Their eyes glowed with their full power, but she was afraid... What if she became who she used to be again? What if she was a monster?
Due to Val holding back, Ridley and Monica had the advantage. They had manipulated her into holding back... And this was how they'd win. The day would finally come where they got vengence upon the Destroyer. The one who had ruined everything. The one who had inspired them to follow in her path to avoid ever being pushed around again by the dark Rybrospo ruler.
"Lost your touch, I see," Monica smirked. "I would say it was nice knowing you, but that'd be a lie."
Lady Valentina.
Val groaned as she got slammed back into a rock over and over. She collapsed, lying on the ground and coughing.
Val.
"Finish her, brother," Monica smirked, glancing at Ridley.
Do it for Mabel. You locked me away because I became too much like you. Let go. If they think you're a monster, show them how powerful a monster fighting for good can be.
"Teresa..." Val said quietly.
Ridley smirked. "Good riddance, Valentina."
He opened a huge container of anti, starting to pour it on Val.
Get up!
Val teleported behind the siblings, eyes glowing. She slowly transformed into her original form. Her eyes turned dark, her hair went black... Her entire outfit went to leather, and her eyes narrowed. All this hiding and covering up her mistakes was undone. She kicked off the ground and glared down at them. Maybe she was a monster... But regardless, she was getting Mabel back.
Ridley's eyes widened and he dropped the container, looking up at Val then over at Monica. "Wha-what now-? Monica?"
Monica had disappeared, leaving him to handle this alone. Typical. Ridley sighed then glared up at her, eyes glowing.
"You want to go? Fine!" Ridley stated.
The two fought toe-to-toe, clashing in a chaotic burst of light and darkness. Val had an emotionless expression, fighting with ease. Ridley was struggling, slowly losing grip over his enhanced powers. Finally, Val slammed him down into Elysia, causing a small earthquake. Ridley groaned, glow fading and just lied there.
With the last of his strength, he made Mabel appear. "You...win..."
Good... Good.
Mabel looked up at Val, eyes wide. "A-aunt Val...?"
Val slowly lowered to the ground, glow fading. "Let's get out of here, kid."
Val stepped over Ridley, who had passed out, and grabbed Mabel's arm, disappearing. She might not have had the glow anymore, but she just seemed...different. More intense, more powerful... For a while, the Prime had felt like Val was weaker than Stella and Teresa. He would be surprised...
When Stella saw Val's new look, her expression dimmed. She was happy to have Mabel back, but... She was terrified that Val would become evil again, just like she had been all those years ago... As Stella hugged Mabel, Val met her gaze then disappeared. Stella hugged Mabel tighter, terrified...Val appeared at Teresa's cell and opened the door. "I wouldn't have made it without you... You can leave."
Teresa smirked, standing and walking out. "It's my pleasure, Lady Val. It's good to have you back."
Val just huffed and disappeared.
Teresa smirked and also disappeared.
