Sadia was in the process of dealing with a few human problems. She had stopped a fire by redirecting it into water, caught a criminal who was going on a crime spree, and a few other things.
After all that work, she was starting to teleport home when she suddenly she got a headache and couldn't use her power. The headache turned into a body ache and she fell to her knees, holding her heart. Sadia took deep breaths... The poison wouldn't destroy her. She didn't have time for it to destroy her!
Being stubborn as usual, Sadia had refused to share that she still was having problems with the poison dagger she had taken for Hayes. It had gotten a bit worse lately, but she was still fighting it. Everyone assumed she managed to stop it, but it never quite went away.
Sadia stood again stubbornly, ignoring the spike of pain, and teleported back, barely making it before falling in front of the couch, resting her head on it. She couldn't find the energy to move...or speak...or think... All she could think about is that she didn't have time for this...
Sadia just sat in the floor for a while before she managed to stand again. A nap would help... She could just sleep it off. She weakly teleported to her room and flopped in bed, already feeling tired again...
Sadia sighed, staring at the ceiling. She needed to be fine... She didn't want to leave again yet. She couldn't. She had far too much to do, but not enough magical energy to handle everything... It's like the limits of her magical energy had been reduced to only half functional and her physical energy was having issues too.Of course, Sadia just fell asleep and hoped to sleep it off, not sharing this with anyone because she's too stubborn... But it was becomig more and more obvious the outspoken, tough guardian was starting to weaken.....
