"Grandpa, what do you mean? You can't let Cedar just keep Camilla here," Grace frowned, following him. "That's not fair."
Cedar smirked over at her, working on creating some decorations. "Sorry, niece. Guess I win this time."
"But grandpa-" Grace began.
Cloud gave her a look, causing the room, including Grace, to go silent. "That's enough for now, Grace. Help your aunt get ready for the party."
Grace sighed and began working with her.
Maze walked over to Grace and raised an eyebrow. "You really wanna get that girl out, huh?"
"Yeah...she's my friend's, Sadia's, sister," Grace explained.
Maze's eyebrows shot up and he smiled. "Sadia Smith, huh? Still finding ways to stir up unreality now that she's back home."
"You know her?" Grace asked.
"Maze, stay out of this," Cedar threatened.
"Mhm. That's one way to explain it. How about you handle my work here and I'll talk to dad for you, hm?" Maze offered, ignoring Cedar.
Grace smiled. "Thanks, Uncle Maze."
Maze smiled and nodded, walking out. Cedar glared at Grace and walked over to work somewhere else. Grace smiled and kept working. She hoped Maze could talk Cloud into letting Camilla go... She wondered how Soren and Astrid were doing and hoped Sadia wasn't too worried about Camilla... This just might take longer than expected.
