"Haven't you ever wondered why you were so different?" Stella asked, sipping her tea.
Val looked at her with confusion. "What do you mean?"
Stella smiled and stirred her tea. "I'm your partner... There were three of us, working together. It was an odd situation... We all took a liking to Rybrospo and built it together... Before I continue... Are you prepared to learn who you were? I think you're ready by now, but I can't be too sure."
"I...don't understand. Am I not just Valentina Juliana Ramira?"
"You are Valentina, but being a Ramira was a way for you to blend in. It was my idea." Stella set down her cup of tea and looked at her seriously. "You are much more than that... You...you were one of the best of us."
"Us?" Val asked. "What are you talking about?"
Stella sighed. "Rybrospo doesn't only have me... It had Valentina, Teresa, and Stella Rybrospo. Now... It's just me. It's been a lonely time between you not knowing who you were and Teresa being evil... But I've managed. And I know you have a life here now... But I hope my story will explain and inspire you to visit me more, sister."
Val's eyes widened. "I... Sister??"
Stella smiled and nodded. "The three of us were so powerful and strong and an amazing team... But one day, you couldn't save everyone...it broke you, so you hid away, afraid of your power... We defeated her and I trapped her, but her mind manipulation ended up erasing your memory... The generous, powerful planet guardian now reduced to a child in a normal family. I watched you grow up and get a chance at being normal... But your power haunted you even there..." She sighed. "Now that everyone forgot you both existed, the burden fell on me to protect you and the planet. It was hard... But I managed. When he sent you away, I... I almost went to get you back. But Ender was your sibling now. All of them are. So I let you go, all these years... Didn't you wonder how you were able to enable humans so easily? The 'revoking guardian powers' was just for show. Val stared at her. "I'm...Rybrospo's planet guardian...? But...I'm not a Ramira?"
"Not biologically. The being a baby thing was fake. It took a lot of work on my part... But... It made you so happy to have a second chance," Stella smiled.
"So all this time... We've been equals..." Val stated, shocked.
"Of course. Are you ready to be yourself again? Because... I think I can restore your memory along with your powers, if you want," Stella offered.
Val hesitated for a moment, but she couldn't run any longer. She had ran time after time - in this memory and her last - from her power... But no more.
"I'm ready," Val nodded.
"Welcome back," Stella smiled, touching her head and restoring her back to normal.
