Teresa walked over. "Hello, Sadia."
Sadia looked over and sighed. "Hi Teresa. Can I help you?"
"Now, that's not the best question... See, I have a little test for you. The question is... Can you help them?" Teresa smirked.
Sadia crossed her arms and stood. "If you're going to cause problems, I suggest you stop before I make you."
Teresa laughed. "No thanks. Besides, I think you'll find cooperating to be in your best interest..."
"And why's that?" Sadia scoffed, rolling her eyes.
Teresa smiled. "I'm going to make Nate, Ender, Ian, and Amory have a human lifespan. The game is to see how long you can hold on to the three of them. After all, your job is to protect the family, right? And they're part of the family now."
Sadia rolled her eyes and turned away. "I'm not playing this game. I'm going to get A-"
"If you say a word about it, Nate's a goner," Teresa stated seriously.
Sadia froze and slowly turned back around. "I...Teresa-"
"Do I look like I'm kidding?" Teresa asked, raising an eyebrow.
Sadia glared. "This isn't funny, and it's not a game, Teresa! These are people-"
"So, I'm guessing you'll play my game then. Good luck. Your time starts...now," Teresa stated, snapping her fingers and disappearing.
Sadia's eyes widened and she quickly concentrated, redirecting her energy to them quickly. She felt a bit dizzy, but she'd have to play this game to protect them...
