Carina ran into her brother's room, hearing him screaming. "Asher! Asher, what's wrong?!"
Asher was sweating and breathing heavily, tossing and turning. "No...no...Ender!"
Carina shook him and he sat up abruptly, staring at her with wide eyes.
"What's wrong? Did you have a vision?" Carina asked, worried. "What's wrong with him?"
"Rybrospo is getting destroyed...or maybe it already has... I can't tell. They're doing it to protect rybrospon from getting in the Empire's hands," Asher said quietly. "Ender is leaving to earth with his sister, I think... And I think we'll never get to say goodbye."
Carina's eyes widened and filled with tears. "I-I-but-"
Asher pulled her into a hug. "I'm so sorry..."
Carina cried into his shoulder. "Why would he leave us? We could've kept him safe... Why would he go there? Why would he leave me?"
Asher sighed and just hugged his sister. "I don't know... I'm sorry..."
Suddenly, a messenger ran in with a letter. He read it aloud to the siblings,
"Asher, and beloved Carina,
I had to go to earth immediately with Valentina, my sister. I will do my best to visit if I'm able. I have to keep her safe. It's my duty.
Carina, I'm so sorry I'll miss our date. I love you, dear. I hope to see you again soon.
Asher, we'll have to watch that movie another time.
I hope to see you both again soon.

The messenger left the letter then left.
"But you said-" Carina began.
"I know," Asher frowned. "He goes evil and he becomes trapped in his necklace..."
Carina's eyes widened in horror. "I don't believe you! He'll be back, Asher!"
She sniffed and then ran out. Asher frowned, but he knew. He'd never get to see his friend again... And neither would she.

She waited though. She waited and waited. She never got married. And it wasn't until she was on her deathbed that she gave up hope. He wasn't coming back...
