Ambros appeared in the living room and sat down. "Hello there. So you two are the ones who have watched over my little girl..."
"What?" Will asked. "Who are you?"
"I am her father. And you have kept my little girl from her full potential... You have broken her spirit and put down her dreams so much so that one of my former enemies was the one who made her happy again. Don't you realize you were awful to her?"
"At least we didn't give her up," Wendy replied, crossing her arms.
"I only gave her up because I didn't want to trap her in unreality...to limit her potential. I thought an earth family would do her some good. It did... But you two treated my daughter in a way that makes me immensely angry. So angry, that you're lucky I'm just talking to you."
"Grace was wasting too much time on her writing. She needed to do something that would actually sustain her. 19 and still at home? She needed to get out of our house and do something worthwhile!" Wendy replied defensively.
"So you kicked her out of your house to fend for herself with barely any money? Did you know that she spent the day with Soren and then that night, she slept on a park bench? And from that park bench, she got kidnapped by a punk alien and trapped on the moon... She ran out of air and almost died. Did you know that? Then, Soren let her live with him since she had no where else to go. As much as I'd like to be protective about a boyfriend, all I see is you two hurting her time and time again. If you ever hurt my daughter again, you'll regret it."
Will raised an eyebrow. "What are you? A mutant?"
Ambros slowly smirked, standing and looking down at them. "No... I'm far more than that, children. I've lived for so long. I am Ambros - master of reality. And my daughter? The one you watched for me? She will be one day too. I love possibility and impossibility. It's fascinating. Do you know why she wrote so much? She's my daughter. I created her to be like me. If she had more confidence, what she wrote or thought could've leaked into reality from time to time. Me? I'm called a master for a reason when I'm not called a monster. I advise you to not find out my full wrath. Stop tearing my child down or I will tear you down."
Ambros glared down at them intensely, eyes changing. The couple wasn't sure why, but Will and Wendy were suddenly terrified and shrunk back. Part of his true nature had been exposed to them and his fury was intimidating and terrifying.
Satisfied with their physical reactions, he shrugged and became normal again. "Glad we worked this out. Hopefully, we won't have this conversation again."
He then disappeared.
