Prompt: "You know, you can stay if you want to."

You had been going into to work really early and leaving extremely late. It was getting towards the end of the season and you were all on a tight schedule, trying to get everything done before your deadline in May. So obviously you were so happy when your car decided it was the perfect time to break down. While your car was in the shop, you had to take the bus to work and that included catching the earliest one possible. However, you still always ended up being late.

"(Y/N), come on," Singer said to you when you came in late for the third time that week. "You know you have to be on time. I understand your car broke down, but you need to ask someone on the cast or crew to pick you up and take you home. You're more professional than this." Bobby had never yelled at you before and it caused you to feel really self conscious when everyone had their attention on you. You walked out of the studio, trying desperately to keep the tears from falling. You heard footsteps from behind, someone trying to catch up to you. You turned to see Jensen stop close to you, his arms throwing themselves around you and pulling you close.

You and Jensen had been friends ever since the show started but had drifted due to the business of your schedules. You also pushed him away a little because of the massive crush you had on him, which failed to go away after he was more out of your life. Reluctantly, you proceed to wrap your arms around him also and cry into his shoulder for a few minutes.

"Hey, (Y/N), it's alright. He's in a mood today," Jensen said as he tried to calm you down. You lifted your head from his shoulder, thankful that you weren't wearing any makeup. You wiped the tears from your face and sniffled. "We good? Here, let's go to the makeup trailer. You need to get that done anyway." Jensen walked you to the makeup trailer and told you encouraging words to try and help you get through the day.

"I know this is probably stupid and annoying to ask, but could you give me a-" Jensen nodded before you were even able to answer your question. You rolled your eye and smiled a bit as you looked at him. "You didn't even know what I was going to ask."

"I would give you virtually anything, so I didn't need to know," he said as you felt your cheeks heat up. "Besides, I know your car broke down and knew you'd probably be asking for a ride. Go to the trailer. I'll tell Singer that you'll be out soon."

"You're the absolute best," you said as you smiled at him. Jensen smiled back at you, kissing your forehead. "I'll meet you in the parking lot at the end of the day." He nodded and walked away back to set as you continued your walk to the makeup trailer.

----------------TIME SKIP TO THE END OF THE DAY----------------

You leaned against Jensen's car as you waited for him to finish filming a scene with Jared. You checked your phone, seeing that it was almost midnight. As you opened up Twitter to check your mentions, you heard laughing coming from across the parking lot. You looked up to see Jared and Jensen walking towards the car. Jared, who hadn't seen you all day, ran up to you and lifted you in a giant hug. You squealed and laughed as he spun you around, placing you down as he placed a tiny kiss you your head.

"I hope it's okay that we're giving Jared a ride home, too. I had given him a ride here this morning and kinda forgot to mention it," Jensen said as he  walked around to the drivers' seat. Quickly, you hopped into the passengers' seat, sticking your tongue out at Jared as he squeezed himself into the backseat. He rolled his eyes at you as you smiled.

"We're taking you home first anyway," you said as he stared out the window. "You are literally seven." Jensen laughed as he watched his two best friends "arguing" about you getting the front seat. He was actually extremely happy that you were able to snag the front seat because he loved to be close to you. He knew that you pushed him away because of your crush, (thanks to Jared), and was trying to let you know that he felt the same way subtly.

"Hey," Jensen said in a loud whisper, "I'm glad you got the front seat. Jared stinks anyway." You snickered as you heard Jared start complaining.

"You're just glad she's in front because - you know what, nevermind. You can tell her that yourself." Jared took back his words as you pulled up to the front of his house. "Thanks, J. See you guys in like 7 hours." You both waved as he climbed out of the car and into his house before making a u-turn and heading towards yours.

"W-what was Jared going to say," you asked as Jensen made a left out of Jared's development. He visibly tensed up and gulped as he stole a glance at you before turning his eyes back to the road.

"It-it's not anything serious," he said as he gripped the steering wheel a bit tighter. "It's kinda stupid actually." You furrowed your eyebrows as you looked out the window in front of you. Suddenly, your actions took over your body as you looked over at him.

"If it's 'stupid' then why can't you tell me," you asked as you felt your heart beating a mile a minute in your chest. He sighed as he pulled up into the front of your house.

"I-I have a crush on you," Jensen mumbled as your eyebrows shot to the top of your forehead. "And I know you have one on me, thanks to Jared that is." Your cheeks turned a dark shade of pink as you looked down at your hands.

"I'm gonna fucking kill him," you joked as you hear Jensen laugh. "We-we don't have to start anything if you don't want to. I'm not gonna rush you into anything you don't-"

"But what if I do want to start something?" You looked up at Jensen as he leaned closer to you. "Tell ya what, how about we talk more tomorrow over some lunch?"

"Shouldn't we talk about it now? You know, you can stay if you want. It's almost one in the morning anyways," you suggested cautiously. After a few seconds of processing, Jensen nodded as he smiled at you.

"I'd like that idea. Haven't seen Darla in a while anyway," he said, referring to your dog. You laughed as you both got out of his car.

"She's gonna be happy to see you around again," you said, pulling your keys out of your pocket. "Hopefully we both see you around here more often." He shrugged as you heard Darla barking as you unlocked the door.

"Wouldn't want to disappoint my girls by staying away now would I," he joked as he bent down to pet your dog, looking up at you with an adoring smile.
