Request: Could you do a Jared x Reader where you have been married for a couple of years and you fly to Vancouver to surprise him on set by telling him you're pregnant?

The positive pregnancy test on the counter in front of you made you happy, yet sad at the same time. You were ecstatic that after a few years of trying, you and Jared finally were going to have a baby, but he had just left for Vancouver a month ago to start filming for season 14. You hated when he had to leave, it destroyed your world, but now that you had a living thing growing inside of you, him not being there hit you harder. You didn't want to just call him and tell him you were pregnant. You wanted him to be there so you could hold his hand and kiss him after you told him; you wanted your reveal to be meaningful.

You didn't want to wait to go visit him too long, but you wanted to wait a few more weeks or until you started to show. You lifted the test off the counter, smiling at it once more before tossing it into the small trash can underneath your bathroom sink. You walked out, taking a deep breath, and subconsciously putting your left hand on your stomach. The idea of something growing inside you scared you. However, fear was inferior to all of the overwhelming excitement that coursed through your system. Having a child of your own had always been a dream of yours, and to know you were having one with the love of your life made it all worth while.

~Time Skip brought to you "I Wish You Liked Girls" by Abby Glover!! (Listen to it)~

It had been about 8 weeks since you found out you were pregnant and you were starting to show. You decided that you would book a ticket to visit Jared before you hit the 6 month mark because then you'd be getting a bit too big to do anything, especially to fly. Buying tickets on such short notice was always a nightmare, but you were surprised to be able to find one for a flight in two weeks. By then, it should be more obvious that you were pregnant but not obvious enough whereas Jared would be able to tell as soon as you saw him. You had started preparing for your trip, making sure Jared knew you were coming up but making sure that he didn't know the real reason why. It wasn't like you couldn't tell him; you needed a ride home from the airport and you weren't going to have one of his friends pick you up and have Jared feel bad. When you called him to tell him, you heard the excitement in his voice and it made your heart flutter.

Before you left for your trip, you had to mentally prepare yourself for what you were about to do. Would Jared be happy? Would it be difficult without him here all the time? You started to become flustered, overwhelmed with all the worries bouncing around in your head. But then you thought of Jared and the huge smile he would have on his face when you told him, your worries melted away. You could do it. You were capable, and even if you didn't think you were, Jared would.

~Hey, you're in Vancouver~

You had worn a big, baggy shirt onto the plane to conceal your baby bump. Jared wouldn't question you; you were just on a plane for 3 hours and he would know how comfortable you would want to be. Finding your bags in the conveyor belt was a nightmare, people pushing each other over whenever they saw their bags. Eventually, you spotted your deep red luggage with your first name's initial embroidered into it. You lifted it off the belt, popping up the handle and wheeling it behind you to try and find Jared. You shuffled around the airport for a few minutes, until you heard someone calling your name.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" You turned your head at the sound of your name to see Jared waving his hand in the air as you rushed over to him excitedly. He wrapped you in a hug and you melted into his touch. Jared pulled away, placing a kiss on your lips. "Hi, sweetheart."

"Hi," you said back as you giggled. "I missed you." You reach up and rub your thumb across his cheek. His hair looks longer, and you let out a breathless laugh as you asked him about. "No haircut yet, I see."

"I know. I was gonna get one before you came." Jared grabbed your hand and your bag with his other, pulling it behind you both as you started to walk out to the parking lot. "I'm probably going to get one tomorrow if you want to come with me." He placed your luggage into the trunk as you hopped into the passengers' seat of his car. Jared climbed into the driver's seat and smiled when he saw you. "I forgot how much I missed you here."

"I have something to tell you when we get home," you blurted out, looking to his hazel eyes as he looked at you with a look full of confusion and nervousness. "Sorry. Me saying it that way made it sound worse than it actually is." Jared let out a sigh, playfully rolling his eyes.

"It better be good news," Jared said as he turned the car on and backed out of the parking space while holding your hand.

~Homeeee~

You carefully lifted your luggage out of the trunk of Jared's car after you arrived at his apartment building in Vancouver. Jared took your bag from you, emphasizing his perfect gentleman qualities. Your heart did back flips in your chest as you thought about your baby having his kindness, and it made you smile. The first thing that he did when he walked into the apartment behind you was to turn you around and kiss you, making you blush. Jared smiled, walking back to his room to put your bag in there before coming back out into the living room.

"You want to eat, babe," he asked as he walked into the kitchen, opening the refrigerator to see what he had to make for lunch. You shrugged your shoulders, fiddling with the hem of your t-shirt. "I have like sandwich stuff. Do you want me to make you a turkey and cheese one?" You looked up at him with a smile and nodded your head. Jared chuckled as you sat down at the counter and he leaned over to kiss your forehead.

"I love you," you said as he made your sandwich. Jared placed it on a plate and put it in front of you.

"I love you, too." He started making himself one and sitting down at the counter next to you. Jared sighed as he took a bite of the sandwich, chewing it up and swallowing it. "I missed this." You nodded in agreement as you took another bite of your sandwich. You both finished within a few minutes and decided to watch a movie. He took yours and his plates and plopped them in the sink, meeting you on the couch. He sat first, inviting you to curl up underneath his arm and against his side.

You were engrossed in the movie when you felt Jared start to slowly run his hand all over your body. He started with your arms and then your thigh and then made his way around to start rubbing your stomach. His hand went to your stomach and you immediately tensed, knowing that he was going to find out. Jared's hand stopped moving as he cuddled you closer.

"You're pregnant aren't you," Jared asked as he kissed down the side of your face. You nodded your head, turning it to face him as you planted a kiss on his lips. "How far along?"

"About 4 months," you said as he furrowed his eyebrows. "I didn't want to tell you over the phone so I waited until I could get a flight out to come see you. Don't worry; I wasn't trying to keep it from you." Jared smiled as he heard your explanation.

"Well, I'm happy," he said as you smiled. "Hopefully he or she gets your looks."

"And hopefully he or she gets your personality." Jared's smile grew wider as he leaned in to kiss your lips. He placed his hands gingerly on your stomach, rubbing it while you continued watching the movie.
