You and your brothers had always hunted monsters. Ever since you were little, you remember driving around in the Impala with them and another man, whom you didn't remember. You assumed he was your dad, or at least that's what you got out of the stories that Sam and Dean told. It wasn't until you got older that you actually learned how dangerous the job you did was, with at least 5-10 hunter casualties a month. It was your goal to not be one of the those; however, you've had a few close calls. Every single time you thought a hunt was going to be your last, something saved you: a something who's name was Gabriel.
Gabriel had always been an important role in your life, him having been there since you could remember. His huge smile had just always existed in your little world, and you were okay with that. He had always been there when you were sad or angry, sticking with you until you felt better. Gabe was a constant in your miserable life, and it hurt when he wasn't there anymore. It all started when your brothers came back from a hunt, looking solemn and sad. They didn't tell you what happened, only that they had failed once again at putting Lucifer back in his cage.
You waited for him everyday, hoping that he would show up and that he would apologize for being gone so long, but he never did. You became bitter, not just at at him but at everybody. You acted as if everyone was against you. Gabe broke your confidence; he made you feel worthless. Why else would he just disappear? You knew that he couldn't have died because angels don't die. Sam or Dean also would have told you, having Castiel as their inside man. He would've told them, or would he have just let it go?
Sam and Dean were worried, not knowing anything that was going on in that brain of yours. They knew you would be sad after not having Gabriel around, but it would break their hearts if they had to tell you that he was dead. You were already upset enough, having pushed everyone away from you. Sam begged Dean to let him tell you, not wanting to keep it a secret anymore, but Dean was adamant on keeping you in the dark, not wanting to hurt you more. Seeing you sulk was the hardest thing for him, but he knew that he would have to deal with it even more if he told you. It took you a while to get over Gabe, possibly a whole year, but you were better than before. You had accepted that he wasn't in your life anymore, having left you so suddenly, but it still hurt when someone would mention his name or do anything that would remind you of him.
One day, he showed up again out of the blue. To say you were angry was an understatement. You were infuriated. You yelled and screamed at him about how he left you and how upset you were and how you thought you would never see him again. Gabriel sat there, taking all of the yelling. He never said anything back; he just let you finished and let you yell until you couldn't anymore. Once you were done, he wrapped his arms around you as you leaned into his hug, your tears cascading over your face and over his shoulder. He rubbed your back while you sobbed, his chin resting on your head.
"I never meant to scare you. I was doing it for you, (Y/N). I love you."

Little change of plans: Instead of just doing 100 character imagines, I decided I would do 110 because I have some more ideas involving them. Don't worry, you guys will get your cast imagines soon enough!!! They will just be started later than anticipated. Also, thanks for 3.5k reads cause that's like extra extra cool. Love y'all - Emma
