Sam: At first, Sam was a bit reluctant to the idea of matching tattoos. He was scared that after you got them there would be regrets or that you two would break up, (which was his biggest fear.) After months of bringing it up casually and annoying the shit out of him, Sam finally agreed. He got used to the tattoo and loved that you had the same one, making it even more special.

Dean: Since Dean knew that he'd never be able to marry you because of the life you both lived, he proposed the idea of matching tattoos instead of a wedding. He wanted to get them to validate your relationship, the tattoos were to symbolize the wedding rings. You loved the idea and Dean even let you pick what you would be getting on your arms. After getting the tattoos, you always had them on display, making sure no guy or girl would hit on either of you.

Cas:When Castiel became human, the first thing you took him to do was to get tattoos. You asked him first, silently hoping he would say yes. And he did. However, he was confused as to why you didn't ask him when he was an angel, to which you responded with you saying that you had gotten the idea while his stolen grace was failing and you wanted to see what would happen before you asked him. When you got there, Cas was intimidated by the needle but, you calmed him down and you were able to get your tattoos. From that point on, he couldn't stop smiling whenever he looked at it because it reminded him of you.

Jack: When you explained to him what a tattoo was and how you wanted to get matching ones, he was more confused than ever. He didn't understand why someone would want a picture on their body or why people wanted the same ones. You explained that they didn't have to be the same one, but that they just had to be on the same plane and that they should look similar. Despite his confusion, Jack went with you to get one and he walked out with a huge grin on his face, tracing the raised image that was now there.
