Telling yourself that you could sleep for 5 more minutes was single handedly the worse decision you could've ever made. Now, you were rushing out to your car to get to set about a half an hour after you were supposed to be there. Your phone was being blown up, everyone on set texting you to see where you were. You threw your drawstring bag into your passenger's seat as you put your phone on silence, not wanting to distract yourself. You sped down through the city, attempting to make it to set in under 15 minutes. As soon as you slammed your feet on the brakes of your car, you were out the door, carrying your drawstring in one hand and your cell phone in the other. You quickly texted Jensen saying that you had just gotten there and were heading to makeup.

Makeup had you in and out in five minutes, helping you get to set as soon as you humanly possible. You stopped by your trailer to throw your drawstring in there, watching as it landed perfectly on the small table near the tiny fridge you had. You closed and locked your trailer, picking up speed as you ran through the parking lot, not wanting Singer to yell at you more than necessary. You turned a corner and slammed into something, falling back on the ground as you opened your eyes after you closed them on impact. Standing in front of you was Mark Pellegrino with a huge coffee stain on his shirt as he hissed from the burning. You quickly got to your feet as you apologized relentlessly.

"Jesus, Mark. I'm so, so sorry," you repeated over and over as you tried to dab his shirt with the napkins that he was holding. He shook his head as if to say "It's fine", but you still felt extremely horrible. Mark pushed your hands away and nodded off in the direction of the studio.

"Don't waste time on me. They need you over there. I'll see you during our scene in a bit," Mark said as he pushed your whole body towards the building. You nodded, rubbing your thumb over his hand and darting away. You quietly opened the set door, trying not to be too loud in case they were shooting a scene. The harsh lights on set were dimmed and you watched as everyone looked at you as you entered.

"She's here," Jared said sarcastically as he went back to eating a bag of chips that was sitting in front of him. You smiled awkwardly as you were immediately pushed onto set and placed on the red 'x' that was situated in front of the table in the library. You ran through your scene flawlessly, getting it down in 2 takes.

You had about a 2 hour break before your scene with Pellegrino, and you spent that 2 hour break thinking about how you were going to apologize for spilling his coffee all over him earlier in the day. Finally, you thought of how you were going to repay him and started your walk back over to set as you prepared for your scene with Lucifer.

"W-why me? Why not Sam or Dean or Cas? Why do you pick on the -"

"Oh, where you going to say 'only girl'? 'Cause I was gonna say 'weakest link," Mark hissed as he delivered his Lucifer lines. You tried to get out of the "restraints" as Mark laughed devilishly and Singer called a wrap on the episode. Mark helped unlatch the metal around your wrists as you smiled at him and sighed.

"Ya know, I think I should repay you for that spilled coffee," you said as you both walked out to your trailers. He shrugged and shook his head.

"You don't have to. Jensen had gotten it for me anyway." You sighed and feigned exasperation as you stopped and crossed your arms.

"I was asking you on a date. Did it not get through your thick skull, Pellegrino," you sassed as you watched his face contort to shock. He stammered and stuttered. "It's the least I could do. I know, out of the blue, but I have eyes." Mark blushed as he knew that you were referring to the many times you caught him staring at you in between takes.

"Alright. Whatever," he sighed out in defeat. "But you better let me take you out on an actual date afterwards, like to dinner or something. N-not that this coffee thing isn't one." You shrugged, not thinking the idea was bad at all.

"Sounds like a date Pellegrino. Now, how about we get our shit and get on outta here before all of the Starbucks in the vicinity close?" He nodded as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder, causing butterflies to erupt in your stomach. Suddenly, you were thankful for your stupidity and lateness because you got a date with your hot coworker out of it.
