Puppy Love (Garth×Reader)

   You had met Garth in the small diner that you worked at. His eyes were enough to draw you in, making you fall in love with him instantly. From the beginning, he was honest. He told you about his life, specifically the hunting. You didn't mind it, simply because you didn't think it was weird. You had been superstitious your whole life and this just proved it further. Plus, you didn't care about what he did or who he had killed. You cared about him. You cared about his adorable smile, his beautiful blue eyes, his humor, his voice, his honesty. Garth's association with hunting wasn't something you hated; in fact, you could've added it to the reasons you loved him. 

   He didn't visit your town all that often, but when he did, he made sure to spend as much time there as possible. Everyone in that town knew you and knew about your "travelling boyfriend." Garth would go with your everywhere. The diner, the store, the park, just anywhere to be with you enough so that he felt as if he was always apart of your life. You loved how much effort he put into your relationship, even if you were happy with the way he was already. It was cute to see the way Garth wanted to be with you as much as possible, almost like a lost puppy. 

   But Garth wasn't lost. At least, he didn't think he was. He loved that town, mainly because it had you in it. The town itself was okay, but Garth just enjoyed being there. He always thought he wasn't good enough for you, how you deserved someone who was actually going to be with you everyday. 

   "Garth, honey, I don't care if you're not always here. I'm just glad I still get to see you. You're always saying how dangerous hunting is and I'm grateful that you're still alive." God, he loved your voice. It was so smooth and sweet, leaving goosebumps on his arms and legs. He was so in love with you that it scared him. Garth never thought that he could be with somebody so long in a business like this. Even if you weren't in it, you were susceptible to harm just by being with him. You were, however, going to take that risk. Garth is the most important person you know and now that you had him, you couldn't just let him go.
