You sat on the stool by the register, hoping someone would walk in. You had been sitting in complete and utter silence for 2 hours, having no one to speak to. Today was a slower day at the shop, probably because it was the middle of March and most families were away on vacation because their kids were out of school and Easter was approaching quicker than anyone anticipated. You walked around the shop, watering the plants that looked like they needed it the most when you heard the bell on the door ring, indicating that someone had walked in. You finished watering the plants and looked at the handsome stranger that had walked in.

"Hi! What can I do for ya," you asked as he smiled at you. You smiled back, feeling your cheeks heat up as you caught a glimpse of his bright green eyes. He looked around the shop for a second and then looked back at you.

"I need a job. I know that you might not have an opening but-" You cut him off by holding up your index finger.

"I'll get you an application and you can fill it out, alright? Follow me, dear," you said as you grabbed his arm, leading him over to the counter. You dug through the drawers, finding some old applications. You motioned for him to sit down and fill out the application, handing him a pen. You went off the tend to some customers that had walked in moments after him, leading them to the things they needed. When they were ready to pay, you walked to the counter, nudging the man to get out of the way. He did as he was told and you felt him watch you intently as you rang up the women's items. When they left, he handed you the finished application.

"Dean Winchester," you mumbled to yourself as you read over the rest of his application. You looked back at him, placing the piece of paper on the counter. "Well, Dean, you start right now so you might as well take your jacket off and make yourself comfortable. How 'bout I show you around and explain everything to you?" He nodded as he took off his jacket and placed it on the stool behind the counter. You motioned for him to follow you and he did as he was told. You pointed to a table of flowers and asked him what they were.

"I-I've gotta be honest with you, sweetheart, but I only know what 2 types of flowers look like," Dean said as he looked down at his feet.

"That's alright, just, pay attention, alright?" Dean nodded and listened as you pointed out flower after flower, explaining their meaning and what other flowers they looked good with. After you finished the tour of your shop, you sat him behind the counter again, wanting to come up with the best possible schedule for him. "Obviously, I'm available pretty much everyday 'cause if I'm not here, the shop doesn't run." You laughed a little at your own joke and Dean laughed along.

"I'm available any day for the rest of the spring and summer. Except for the August 21st. August 21st is my brother's wedding date," Dean explained as you nodded. Suddenly, he became excited and looked at you with a wide smile "Hey, maybe you and I can do his floral arrangements. I know he couldn't find a good florist on his side of the city. Is it cool if I call him and ask?" You smiled, nodding once again as he took out his phone. You knew he was handsome but you didn't know that he would possibly become more handsome when he got happy about something. And his smiled, Jesus Christ. You were pulled out of your thoughts when you heard Dean talking to you.

"Sammy said that him and his fiance, Jess, could come in tomorrow around 2. Is that okay or do you have something else to do at that time," he asked as he looked into your eyes. You noticed his vibrant green eyes and mentally added them to list of reasons he was attractive. You shook your head.

"That's perfect," you answered as your heart skipped a beat. You were suddenly very excited for tomorrow.
