Request: David going on a date with you and Jared and Jensen being protective best friends
Filming season 12 had brought all lot of new things to your life: new challenges, new characters you had to play, and a new friend who you never expected to be brought into your life. David Haydn-Jones was a man you had always dreamed of meeting, yet you didn't know that until you met him. It all started out so innocent with just small, simple smiles and long bouts of eye contact, but it got progressively less innocent as filming continued. He would shamelessly hold your hand or kiss your cheek, anything that would indicate any type of relation between the both of you. Everyone on set knew that you had something going on; however, neither of you had gotten up the courage to take it a step further, or so you thought.
One day, David confidentially sauntered up to you, asking you out on a proper date. Smiling, you nodded yes, something you've been wanting to for months now. He smiled also and it made your chest close up briefly, seeing how happy he was. Jared and Jensen stood behind him, their eyebrows furrowed and giving him an evil glare. You shook it off as you held a conversation with David, deciding what time and day would work well for the both of you. You had finally decided on going out on the upcoming Saturday for lunch. He walked off onto set, having to film one of his scenes and you watched in amazement. You always loved his acting, but now you were looking at him as a seemingly different character, someone who was more kind and loving. Obviously, that wasn't at all what Ketch was, but that was David was.
----------------Friday Night----------------
You had just wrapped up filming and were heading back to your trailer when Jared and Jensen came up behind you, scaring you shitless.
"Boys! Y-You can't do that," you exclaimed as you calmed yourself down and started walking back again. The boys followed you. "Why are you guys following me?"
"We want to talk to you." You rolled your eyes and left it alone, knowing that you didn't want to snap at them for no reason. You unlocked the door on your trailer, walking in and hearing them follow. They sat down at the small table you had in there, squeezing into the same booth. You rolled your eyes and looked at them, gesturing for them to talk. Once they didn't get the hint, you sighed and rolled your eyes.
"What do you two want? I have to be home soon. I've gotta rest for that-" Jensen cut you off.
"Date you have tomorrow. We know," he said as he fiddled with his wedding ring. "That's what we want to talk to you about." You raised your eyebrows, looking between him and Jared, confused and nervous. "It's nothing bad just...are you sure you want to go on a date with him?"
"Of course," you said, being coming defensive a bit too quickly. "Why shouldn't I?" Jensen looked at Jared trying to make him talk.
"We just...don't think David's right for you." Jared's sentence left you dumbfounded. David was the only person you imagines yourself with and he was saying that he wasn't your type of guy?
"Y-you...you don't know that," you said quietly, not wanting to hurt their feelings. "Maybe he's the guy I've always dreamed of." Jensen and Jared looked at one another, swallowing nothing as they looked at you.
"(Y/N)..." You rolled your eyes.
"You guys are just upset because if I get a boyfriend, I won't be hanging out with you guys that much," you said. You regretted as soon as you sad it and you tried to take it back, stuttering and apologizing.
"Stop apologizing," Jared said as he chuckled lightly. "You're right." You sat in shock at the words he just said. "We're....jealous, I guess."
"I don't know if I can speak for Jar, but I'm afraid that you're going to totally forget about us when you start dating him," Jensen said as Jared nodded. "And we don't want you to forget about us."
"Oh please," you began as you snickered a little. "How can I forget you two? I work with you guys for fuck sake. Also, you're my best friends." Jared and Jensen smiled at this. "I couldn't replace you if I tried." Jensen sighed as a huge smile was plastered on his face.
"So, you promise to tell us everything," Jared mocks as he pretends to be a teenager girl, flipping his hair. You laugh and nod, looking at him once again.
"You know it, bitch." You all laughed and chatted about your date tomorrow, the boys acting like teenage girls as you explained everything that you knew you would be doing. "You guys are such girls." They rolled their eyes and denied it, but you knew that they truly cared about you and your well being.
