God, you hated men. Well, it was sorta your fault for falling in love with Satan himself, but you still hated them nonetheless. You didn't know what compelled you to fall in love with that son of a bitch, Lucifer, but you did. He ended up ripping your heart out and smashing it with his foot, quite literally. You had gotten into a gigantic argument and it ended with him killing you and sending you to Hell. Now you were back and more pissed than ever. You hated the Winchester's for introducing you to him, you hated him for being so charming and chival; however, you hated yourself the most because you fell in love with him. You had no one to blame but yourself.

The walk from your grave to your old apartment was very short. You had recognized the graveyard you were buried at almost immediately and you knew your way. You had driven past that church everyday to go to work during the school year, where you taught some 4th graders. It was a dark and dreary day. Rain was flooding the streets and you felt your clothes becoming more heavy as the it started to downpour. You hoped Lucifer was still at your place, though, the heartless bastard could've left as soon as you were dead. You rounded the familiar street corner, noticing your 2002 Honda Civic still sitting in its parking spot. You sighed, walking up to the door of the stairwell. The bones in your knees cracked every step you took and the pain was becoming agonizing. You stopped.

There it was. Apartment 2H, your and Lucifer's shared apartment. You felt around under the doormat, finding the spare key that you had kept there. You unlocked the door, opening it to reveal that all of your stuff was still there. You heard rummaging from your bedroom and your hunter instincts kicked in. You grabbed a knife out of the kitchen drawer, moving slowly on your feet and trying not to make any noise. After poking your head around the door frame, you lowered the knife, noticing it was Lucifer sitting on your bed and running his hands through his hair.

"Luci," you whispered as you sniffled. You didn't even notice the tears flowing down your cheeks until the salty taste hit your lips. His head spun around and his eyes widened when he saw you. You were pushed against the wall, causing you to drop the knife, and you felt kisses being planted all over your face. You pulled away, holding his face in your hands and stared at his tear streaked face. As your eyes met his, he broke down into uncontrollable sobs.

"I-I'm so-sorry, (Y/N). I'm sor-sorry." His words were choppy and muffled while his face was buried into your neck. You rubbed the back of his head, leaving tiny kisses across the top of it. "W-why did you come back? Ho-how did you come back?"

"I don't know, babe. I don't know," you sniffled as he looked into your eyes again. "But I'm here. And I want you to leave." If it was possible for him to look even sadder, he achieved it. He looked like a kicked puppy, even more tears flowing down his face.

"N-no. (Y/N), I-I can't live without you," Lucifer begged as his shrunk down to the floor. He then spoke in barely above a whisper. "I-I love you."

You gulped. That was the reason you guys were fighting. Lucifer was never one to share his feelings, but you were sure that he would've at least told you he loved you. You yelled at him because he hadn't said it in the 8 months that you guys had been dating and you had. You stared into his eyes, feeling pain in your chest. His face, his sad, snot and tear covered face, was enough to make your heartbreak. You loved him, God you loved him so much, and seeing his reaction to your words hurt like a bitch.

"I love y-you, too," you said as you sank to his level. He wrapped you in a hug, burying his head into your shoulder. You sighed, rubbing his back and kissing his head. "Next fight, you're out for good." He nodded against your shoulder as he kissed it, leaving behind a pleasurable burning sensation. You didn't know how he was always able to get to your soft side, but you did know that he was so damn good at it. You hated yourself for letting him stay. But you were in love with him. It was your fault for falling in love with Satan.
