Okay, I lied, my favorite deck uses Fusion summoning and Shun. Would. Hate. Me. For. It.

Especially since the monster I summon most often is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay darker than that giant birdie thingy that he always summons.

Shun: It's not just a bird, it's a-

Yeah I don't care.

Shun: *emo corner*

"I'll now use the effect of my Cyber Network to bring back my three banished monsters! Come on back, my three Cyber Dragons!" your opponent yelled. "I fuse them to create the ultimate machine! Cyber End Dragon!"

You gasped and stumbled backwards. "N-No..... not again."

Different user, same dragon. You'd seen that dragon once before and it hadn't gone well.....

"I now use Powerbond to Fusion Summon Cyber End Dragon!" the dark duelist yelled, throwing his hand into the air. "Attack!"

Someone intercepted the attack before it could hit you. "Stop! Don't hurt her!"

"Shun!" you cried, running to your childhood friend's side. He rolled onto his back and smiled weakly.

"I'm fine. Take him down, okay?" he said, touching your cheek lightly.

"I will, Shun," you whispered, tears forming in your eyes.

In the end, you lost to the duelist, who walked away without mercy. You fell back and your head hit a rock, knocking you unconscious. Shun ran to your side and picked you up, carrying you to the nearest infirmary.

"Please wake up, Y/n..... I can't lose another friend to the Fusion summoners....." he muttered, sitting by your bedside the entire time.

This time, Shun wasn't here. He was off in another world, taking on some organization. You were on your own.

Your opponent whipped off her hood, glaring you down. "Well? You gonna fight, little Xyz user?" Her eyes were cold and menacing, staring right through you.

Oh yeah. The attack's still coming.

"I activate the trap Mirror Force! This negates your attack and destroys your monster, leaving your field open!"

The girl gasped. "No way! You can't be serious!"

"Oh, I'm serious, Miss Fusion Girl," you snapped, whipping out your hand. "(Ace monster), end this!"

Her life points dropped and she fell to the ground as someone called, "Y/n!"

Shun sprinted up to you. "Are you okay?"

You nodded, throwing your arms around him. "I won, Shun. I did it!"

Shun smiled, pulling back. "I knew you could do it."

"Did you find your sister?" you asked.

He shook his head. "Not yet, but I wanted you on the team to help. Yuto's scouting the area as we speak."

You grinned and kissed his cheek. "Happy to join you."

Shun blushed, a rare occurrence for someone so serious. "I'll- yeah. Come on."

Before you could step past him, he grabbed your arm and kissed you. "Thanks for coming to help find her."

"You saved me once. I owe you," you whispered against his lips. Shun smiled again and pulled you closer, wrapping his arms around your waist.

You sighed and gave him a light push. "Come on, we got work to do."

He nodded, stepping back. "Ready to go?"

"Always."

I did not think I'd pull that off

Shun is so OOC *hides in corner*

Shun: At least I'm not..... A FUSION USER! *all up in my face like a dork*
