Syrus Truesdale X Reader- Savior

Sy's such a smol muffin, huh?

Be warned: Crazy insane Zane alert. *whispers* but that's the way the fangirls like him

You stared at the back of your boyfriend's head as he retreated from the room. Granted, you didn't acknowledge him with the title anymore. Not after he'd gone insane and kidnapped you.

Zane was gone, obviously. Replaced by a much darker person. You couldn't stand to watch him deteriorate, so you broke up with him. Instead of respecting your decision, he kidnapped you and locked you in a cell to "have whenever he pleases."

You hated him.

The night was silent, as was every other night. No calls of, "Y/n! Are you there?" or "Let her go, Zane!"

Even you didn't know where you were.

Then, you heard a creaking noise. You turned and saw that one of the windows was opening! Immediately, you rushed to the opening, breathing in fresh air. Suddenly-

"Come on, Y/n!"

You looked up and gasped. "Syrus?"

Syrus reached for your hand. "Hurry! Zane could be back any minute!"

Not needing to be told twice, you scrambled out into the open. "Where are we going?"

"Home," Syrus said. He took your hand and led you through the woods to a golf cart. You climbed in the back and hid under a blanket, making sure to hang on.

It seemed to take forever to get wherever you were going, but once the cart stopped, you pushed back the blanket. Syrus took your hand and led you into a building. "I've been hiding out here for weeks. I followed Zane when he took you and promised myself that I'd come and save you." He blushed.

You sat down on a couch and pulled Syrus down next to you. "Thank you so much, Syrus," you whispered, wrapping your arms around him.

"No problem. I just couldn't stand to see you in the arms of someone else, that's all," Syrus said, then froze. "I- uh I mean, well....."

You glanced down at Syrus and smiled. "Hey, Sy," you replied, then kissed his forehead. "Did I ever tell you you're cuter than your stupid brother?"

Syrus blushed again and kissed your cheek. "I kinda- well, I'm in love with you."

(HEART MELTING)

You cupped his chin in your hand and kissed him. "I love you too, Syrus."

"R-Really?" Syrus stuttered against your lips.

"Yes," you responded, pulling back. You smiled at him and added, "I love you, my savior."

I think I got a cavity writing this. Yikes.
