(Oh, and remember the episode with Blair? Yeah. Think like that.)
Y/n's POV:
I stared up at the window. The more I thought about it, the worse the idea got.
The bigger question was, did I have the guts to do it?
Okay, maybe it was stupid. But a more accurate depiction of that question is, did I have the heart to do it?
None of his other fangirls did.
But whatever. I do.
Quickly, I pulled myself up a tree and wobbled along the windowsills. Finally, I reached the balcony on the other side of the building and slipped into the darkened room.
I opened the large wardrobe and pulled out a white coat with dark blue trim. Quickly, I dropped my top and slipped it over my head.
The full-length mirror showed the fact that the coat was several sizes too big and it went all the way to the floor, crumpling at the bottom. The sleeves went way past my fingers, too.
"I'M ATTICUS RHODES, AND I THINK I LOOK A-MA-ZING!" I whisper-shouted, striking a pose.
Laughing, I fell back onto the bed, wrapping my arms around my stomach.
The laughter automatically died when I sat up and saw my best friend since childhood, Atticus Rhodes, leaning against the doorframe with an amused smile on his face.
"Oh, um, Atticus. Hi," I said, swallowing.
Atticus grinned. "I knew this would happen eventually," he joked, shutting the door behind him.
"You look cute like that, Y/n," he added.
I blushed. "You're so annoying, I can handle being in a room with (annoying person) longer."
"No, I mean it," he said, walking casually over and sitting next to me. "You are cute. Whether you're wearing my coat or not."
My blush deepens. "A-Atticus-"
Atticus cut off my words quickly, pressing a finger to my lips, which are still slightly open. "Shut up. I can't kiss a cute girl if she's talking."
What did he just say?
Before that thought finishes, Atticus replaces his finger with his mouth, fiercely kissing me. I gasp in shock and he slips his tongue into the kiss.
Wow.
He breaks the kiss after a few seconds, smiling. "Cute coat, by the way."
