Syrus X Reader- Jealousy

For the person who agrees with my nickname for Syrus (Marshmallow) AlexisBell0MoonBell! He is a little marshmallow so he gets that nickname.

You stood calmly at the ocean's edge, watching the waves in the spot your best friend often stood.

"Y/n?" a voice called. "What are you doing out here?"

You turned to see Zane walking up to you. "You'll catch pneumonia," he said, stopping beside you.

"Myth," you responded. "Pneumonia is caught when there's too much water in the lungs."

Zane sighed. "Still, I care about you, all right?"

You gave him a sideways glance. "That was out of character," you said.

"Whatever. Can I walk you back to the Ra dorms?" he asked.

"Sure," you responded. "I- Zane, can you keep a secret?"

Zane nodded, stopping in his tracks to listen.

You took a deep breath, then said, "Zane, I'm actually in love."

"Really? Never thought I'd live to see the day. So, who's the guy?"

(A/n: OMG THE TEARS AT THAT LINE)

A nervous laugh escaped your lips. "Your little brother."

Zane stood very still for a few seconds, then said, "Go and tell him."

"But-"

"I swear to the patron god of your dorm, Y/n, I will lock you in Syrus's room until you tell him. My little brother deserves a brave girl and I won't let you near him if you don't go and say, 'Syrus Truesdale, I'm in love with you,' right now, you're never speaking to him again." Zane's poker face added to the speech.

Nevertheless, you straightened up to your full height and said, "I'd like to see you try."

Three seconds later, Zane had you over his shoulder and was marching to the Ra dorm. "Hey, Zane, lemme go!" you exclaimed, hitting at his back and trying frantically to keep your skirt down over your thighs.

"I told you. This wouldn't have happened if you had just said, 'Okay Zane, you're right. I will tell him.'" The tealnette continued walking until he reached Syrus's dorm room and he yanked open the door.

Syrus was crouched at his windowsill, looking down. "That's strange......" he muttered. "They're not there anymore."

They? Who was they? It was a question quickly on your mind.

The little bluenette turned around and saw his brother with you over his shoulder. You had kind of given up fighting at this point.

"Zane? What are you doing? And is that Y/n?"

Zane set you on the floor and said, "Y/n has something important she has to tell you." Then he shut the door and you heard it lock from the outside.

"Security purposes installed by the latter," Syrus said as you reached for the door handle. "No point in trying to open it."

He walked up behind you and took your hand away. He was a full head shorter than you, which made him kind of adorable and he looked a lot younger than he actually was.

"Oh," you muttered, scratching the back of your neck.

"So what was it you had to tell me?" Syrus asked, dropping your hand. You mentally screamed at the loss of contact but forced yourself to take a deep breath.

"Zane will keep that door locked until I say so, so.....I- I love you, Syrus Truesdale," you blurted.

Syrus jumped in surprise. "R-Really? You're not just saying that? This isn't another Crawler prank, is it?"

You laughed, recalling the night Alexis and her friends had caught Sy sneaking around the Obelisk dorms. "Of course not, Sy. You're too innocent-looking to lie to."

Syrus's eyes filled with tears and your heart dropped. He doesn't love me back. I knew it.

"You don't know how happy it makes me for you to say that!" Syrus exclaimed, throwing his arms around you and sobbing into your shirt. 

You blinked.

"Um, what, Sy?"

"These are happy tears," Syrus hiccupped. "I'm so happy because.....I love you too, Y/n!" he blurted, tightening his hug.

You smiled at Syrus's cuteness and stroked his hair. "Thank you, Sy."

When Syrus finally unlatched himself, he sank onto his bed, laughing. "I never thought you'd love me back! I mean, you're hanging out with my brother so much I thought you were in love with him!"

"Were you jealous, Sy?" you teased, walking over to him and sitting next to him.

Syrus raised his head, blushing. "Yes....." he muttered.

"You don't have to be any more," you replied. "I'm all yours and no one else's, got that?"

He smiled that little Syrus smile you loved and suddenly kissed you, blushing. "Okay."

You blushed as well at the sudden kiss but pulled Syrus back to you and kissed him gently.

That.

Was.

I have been meaning to write about Syrus for the l-o-n-g-e-s-t time-

Syrus: Yes you have!

Me: Syrus, I'm sorry I procrastinated so much!

Jaden: Why isn't there more Jaden love in the world?

Me: You're self-centered sometimes! *runs*

Jaden: Ah, wait, Aly!!!!!

Syrus: *turns to camera* Tune in next time to see if Aly will forgive Jaden! Next up we have a very complicated one, it appears to be a Ryou X Bakura X Akefia X Reader X Marik X Yami Marik! Whew.
