Aigami/Diva X Reader

Jasmine: Nice. She can recite two poems in one day but can't friggin remember who requested a oneshot on her book.

SHUT IT.

"Silly puppy!" you exclaimed, hugging Joey as he tried to straighten the costume Duke had given him to promote ice cream sales. "Come on, it's not that hard!"

Joey sighed and twisted the head so he could see. "Do ya dink this is gonna be too off-center?"

You shook your head. "It looks fine, Joey."

"Really? Cause if ya need to fix dis more-" he started.

"Joey, shush," you said, cutting him off. "It looks fine. Now go out there and sell some ice cream!"

Joey laughed and patted you on the head, running out to help out Duke. You sighed and closed the door of the dressing room, leaning against the wall and smiling. Joey was one of your best friends, and you loved to see him so excited. All your other friends held a special place in your heart as well, but Joey..... he was awesome.

"Who are you?"

You whirled around to see a boy, maybe a little older than you, standing behind you.

"Um, I'm Y/n. You can't be back here, it's an employees-only area. I'm gonna have to ask you to leave." You lightly pushed his arm to try and make him move. He stood still.

"Why do you have it?" he asked, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a cube.

You gasped. "The plana- it's not just a legend?"

He shook his head. "My name is Diva- known here as Aigami. The boy you were with- he is?"

"A friend of mine- Joey," you replied. "My grandpa always told me about the plana and so I tried to learn the ways of it, but my dad denied it as a legend."

"It's true," Diva said, holding out the cube. You touched it and everything around you suddenly came into more focus.

"Wow," you whispered.

"We will discuss more later," Diva added, putting the cube away. "Now, go and.... sell ice cream, I suppose."

Then he was gone, just like that.

You rushed outside to find Joey, who was doing a bang-up job of selling ice cream- literally. He was all banged up from a fight.

"Silly puppy!" you called, rushing to his side. "What's wrong with you?"

Joey groaned. "Stahp hangin' out wit' Rich Boy, will ya?"

Diva began to battle your friends Yugi and Seto. Just before Seto went down, you jumped in front of the attack. "Oh no you don't!" you yelled.

The attack stopped. Diva knew he couldn't attack you, that stupid boy.

"Give me the ring, Diva," you said, channeling the power of the plana to help you.

Slowly, the sky began to clear- but the puzzle suddenly glowed. You gasped and watched as Yugi transformed- and Diva fell to the ground.

"Diva!" you shouted, running to his side as the sky cleared and Seto regained his balance.

"Ay, what's the big idea?" Joey asked, crossing his arms. "Wha' happened between Y/n and Aigami?"

"He's an old friend of mine," you said, helping Diva to his feet and leading him to Joey. "We've been together in tough times, so treat him nicely."

Joey looked Diva over and nodded. "You're a good guy to look after ma friend Y/n like that."

Diva blinked. "Thank you, Joey. I never thought someone who I nearly destroyed would call me that."

"If ya treat her well, I'm willing to forgive ya about the whole memory thing," Joey said.

You smiled and hugged Diva. "I'm glad you're safe."

He hugged you back and kissed your forehead. "I'm glad you didn't get hurt, stupid girl. Why'd you jump in front of my attack?"

"You wouldn't hurt me," you replied, smiling. "You love me too much."

Diva laughed and kissed you, hugging you tightly. "I do."

Joey sniffed. "All right, break it up, I might cry."

You let go of Diva, smiling. At least the dimensions (and Joey's pride) were safe.

Well, Seto was walking over to Joey. The Brooklyn native's pride may not be safe for long....................
