Jaden X Reader

They sat together on the beach in silence. 

The brunette boy's hair tangled with h/c locks as their lips met.

Brown eyes burned into e/c ones.

The girl sighed softly, wrapping her arms around his neck-

Kuri kuri!

Jaden shot up in a cold sweat, panting. Another dream with his secret crush, the Slifer girl Y/n. She was the only one besides him who had stayed in the Slifer dorm after the..........incident.

He glanced up at Winged Kuriboh, who gave an encouraging kuri. Meanwhile, Yubel sat in Jaden's soul, steaming. 

"Jay?"

Jaden glanced towards the door. Y/n was standing casually in the doorway, looking concerned. "What's up, Y/n?"

She walked over and sat down, taking his hand. "What's wrong? I heard you scream......"

The dream came back to the brunette in a flash.

His arms tightened around her waist, and darkness clouded his mind. She gasped and began to breathe more heavily. "Jaden.......loosen up.........."

Jaden only laughed and tightened his grip, one hand trailing to her neck. He grabbed her throat and began to choke her.

"Jaden-!" she screamed, hands flying to his wrist, trying frantically to pry him off. "Let- go!"

Another laugh escaped Jaden's lips as his eyes faded from brown to yellow. "So easily tricked.......so quickly seduced....."

Y/n started to thrash in his grip. "NO! No- Haou, no!" She went limp as Jaden firmly bit down on her neck, cutting the vein with his teeth. She fell to the side, letting out a last bit of air, blood seeping into h/c hair and green grass.

Jaden's eyes switched back to brown and he stood, her blood dripping down his chin. "No.....no...Y/n! NO!"

He dropped to her side and felt for a pulse, crying as he discovered there was none. "WHY, HAOU!?!?"

NO!

Jaden started to cry as Winged Kuriboh settled on Y/n's shoulder. She leaned forwards and cupped his face in her hands. "Shh, shh, Jaden, don't cry, please. It was just a dream."

He started sobbing and threw his arms around her. "We were alone, and we were kissing, then I started choking you and Haou killed you! It's not okay! What if Haou really does kill you!" He gasped. "What if this is a dream and that dream was reality?!?" Sobs grew louder and louder as Y/n calmly stroked his back.

"It's not real. I promise. That dream was just a dream, Jaden." Her eyes focused on his as she wiped away the tears covering his cheeks. "Did you say something about us kissing?"

Jaden looked up and sobbed harder, if that was even possible. "I- I'm sorry, Y/n!"

"That may be a reality in about three seconds."

"What?"

Y/n's lips pressed against Jaden's and she wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love you," she whispered.

Jaden slowly stopped crying and, after getting over the shock, kissed back. "I love you too, Y/n." His hands gently landed on her waist, rubbing her sides gently. "I love you to the stars and back."

"I would go to the stars for you, my Jaden," she responded. Jaden sighed and pulled her onto his lap, laying back so they were cuddling under his covers.

They were running through a meadow, white knee-length sleeveless dress adorning his girlfriend. Jaden ran a hand through her hair, kissing her gently.

"I love you, Jaden," she said, kissing him back.

"I love you, Y/n," he replied sweetly.

Both fell into the grass, among the daisies, Jaden kissing her cheek and stroking her face.
