Yuya Sakaki X Reader

Aly: Arc-V time!

JJ: *facepalms* She's so enthusiastic about everything lately.....

Jasmine: It's almost as if she's-

JJ/Jasmine: IN LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!

Aly: *swings away from Pinterest* Liars!

JJ: *points at Yuya, Jaden, Jesse and Chazz-filled screen* Oh yeah?

Aly: *shuts computer* Zip it, knucklehead.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen, here is my grand finale! Attack, Odd-Eyes!" your best friend called from atop his dragon.

You smiled as the holograms disappeared and The Sledgehammer yelled angrily. "Great job, Yuya!" you exclaimed happily. "Show him what you're made of!"

Yoko cheered next to you, smiling wildly. "That's my son up there!"

Yuya turned and waved, grinning proudly. "I did it, Mom!"

Zuzu groaned. "Will he never shut up?"

"Never. If I know Yuya, never," you chuckled, crossing your arms.

The little group met outside and decided to head out for ice cream to celebrate. Yuya couldn't stop talking as you walked downtown to a cafe near the You Show Duel School. "And then the dude whipped out that huge monster, and I thought I was done for, and wow that was amazing!"

"We get it, Yuya," you laughed, putting your forearm on his shoulder. "Can you calm down a bit?"

Yuya kept talking as if nothing had been said, chattering away until Yoko tugged his goggles and they snapped back. "Ouch, Mom!" he groaned, pushing his hair out of his eyes and moving the goggles back into their spot.

Everyone ordered their ice cream once they got there and sat at tables. You ended up seated across from Yuya, who kept waving his spoon around for emphasis while he talked.

"Slow down, you're gonna choke!" you exclaimed, pulling his ice cream away from him. "And don't talk with your mouth full, you know better."

Yuya swallowed, chugged back some water, and smiled. "Yeah, sorry," he giggled, tugging at the collar of his shirt. You blushed a little, trying not to think of how cute he was when he did that.

"H-Hey, Y/n? Can I ask you something?" Yuya asked, but before you could answer, Yoko tugged at his sleeve.

"Come on, you two, we're all headed back. Y/n, you're welcome to come back to our place." She smiled kindly at you, knowing that you didn't want to go back to your house.

"Thanks Mrs. Sakaki," you said, wiping your mouth and standing. The fight with your parents this morning was the biggest yet, and you weren't sure if you were ever going back there. At least you'd made it out before any hits had landed.

Yuya took your arm lightly and led you down the street, Yoko explaining the exact recipe for the cafe's ice cream. It calmed you down enough to exchange some small talk with Yuya about his duel and your strategies.

"That Pendulum summoning was something else," you said with a smile. "Could you show me?"

"Well, you do need Pendulum cards, but I'll show you how with mine!" he replied, his mouth stretching into a smile as well.

Yoko opened the door for you and gave you a glass of milk. "How about you and Yuya go up to Yuya's room and hang out there?" she offered, giving her son the do-it-or-no-pancakes-tomorrow look.

Yuya gulped and nodded. "Come on up, Y/n."

Gladly, you followed Yuya up to his room where he instantly flopped on the bed. "So, before my mom dragged us back, I was going to tell you something."

You sat on the bed so your back was pressed into his side. "Go ahead."

"Would you ever, hypothetically of course, consider meeting me at the park or at the mall or anywhere, for that matter, if I said it was a date?" He blushed as the words left his mouth.

"Are you asking me out?" you asked, tucking your legs up to your chin.

"Yeah, I am," Yuya muttered, blushing even deeper. "If you don't like me, that's okay, I just- I wanted to know."

You smiled widely. "Yes, Yuya, I do like you! I would go on a date with you- heck, if you asked, I'd probably jump off a building if it meant you'd catch me at the bottom!"

"Well, don't go jumping off buildings and I won't have to," Yuya said, sitting up. Shyly, he kissed your cheek, hugging your arm.

"Aw, Yuya," you whispered, grabbing what little bicep muscle he had and kissing his cheek. "You're so cute~"

Yuya smiled, giggling a little before kissing your nose. You retaliated with a kiss to his forehead. He in turn, kissed you on the lips. It was your turn to blush when he pulled back, but you gave him a kiss.

It was a cute kiss- a little kiss, but a sweet and utterly adorable kiss- just like the boy you'd given it to.

JJ: Aly and Yuya-kun sitting in a tree

Aly: JJ get away from me

Jasmine: First comes love, then comes marriage

Yuya: And the youngest triplet with spinal damage.

Jaden: They're just friends?

Yuya: *hugs Aly*

Chazz: Nope.

Jesse: She does go for the cute and innocent guys.

Chazz: Sounds like someone's out of place. *looks at Jaden*

Jaden: Chazz, don't beat yourself up, you know she and Chazzitup15 both love you!

Chazz: I meant you!

Jesse/Yuya: *facepalm*
