I have just talked about being simple when it comes to poem. Here two of my favorites. The joy of translating is exclusively mine, while trying to understand how deep can simple phrases be... Petang Condong and Dua Kekasih.
INCLINED AFTERNOON
Inclined afternoon has arrived at my age
Along with soft colors to my face
It changes my view
about my movements and actions
And those chosen paths
about my acts and assumptions
And my pre-arranged thoughts
That afternoon seems slow
Gracing calm to my every movement
Due to my ever bending age
And so I shall be simple
