Abigail waved him goodbye as the doors to the lift shut. She ran, tugging on your arm, "He's gone!" "Are you sure?" You smiled. She nodded. "Alright then," You smiled softly, letting her drag you away.
"Wait here, I'm getting dad!" She smiled widely, running off to find Loki. While you waited, you heard someone say: "Hey."
Looking up, you saw Steve smiling, "How come you're just sitting here?" "Abigail's gone to get Loki, she's super excited about learning all this trick stuff," You smiled, thinking about it all. He nodded slowly, eyes drifting to the ground for a moment before coming up back to you. "You know, since you've been busy with Abi, of course, and things, we haven't visited that park for a while," He said, taking a seat beside you.
"Oh right," You muttered, remembering, "I forgot about that. It has been a while..." He hummed, "If you ever get time, tell me. We should go back one day, I heard they added a new feature too." "Oh! I wonder what it is," You wondered for a second, smiling, "But of course-" "Oh, sounds like Abi found Loki, well, I'll let you guys carry on," He put a hand on your shoulder and said goodbye. Smiling to him as he left, you then turned to the direction of the sound of Loki and Abigail.
You nodded. "Ready?" You whispered, eyes wide with excitement. Abigail, closing her eyes, took a deep breath in, that you both could hear through the silence, and breathed back out. She concentrated, brows furrowed tensely as her hands turned to fists. "Relax," Loki muttered, causing Abigail to forcefully loosen her muscles. She took another deep breath in; then out, almost making a whistling sound.
Her eyes snapped open, looking down to herself as you almost squealed in joy. "Well done!" You were so happy for her, she had been working so hard for 3 weeks. It was as if a cloud of relief and satisfaction overcame the three of you. "Good job," Loki said, smiling, giving his daughter a hug. Abigail hugged him back, jumping up and down in his loving embrace. "I finally did it!" She said, proud.
