You woke up with your covers falling off of the bed, quickly grabbing them, you pulled them back up and yawned. Stretching your back as if you were a cat, you soon sat up and held your head in your hands.

Moments later: "Guess what I just got," Stark announced to Natasha and Rogers, showing them a portrait of himself, "I'm putting it here." Without waiting for them to agree, he hung it on one of the walls and stood back for a moment to admire it. "Don't you think we have enough already?" Rogers asked, eyebrow raised; hinting at the many others that could be found around the tower. "Nope. Not nearly enough," Stark said, "Anyway, lovely 30 second chat with you both, but I have some more important things to do." Natasha scoffed a silent laugh as he left, "He's feeling more like himself today than he has for a long while." "I think I liked the other one better..." Rogers admitted, laughing with a grin.

"I'm sorry." You shook your head, "It's not your fault, I just didn't want to trouble you." Loki sighed silently, whispering, as he rubbed the back of your hand, "You could never..." A corner of your lips curled up for a second, "Am I troubling you now?" He shook his head. "I'm just worried, and very," he cheekily kissed the bottom of your cheek, "very sorry that I made you have to look for another way to feel better." Although he smiled to you, you felt him regret not talking to you properly; even though you thought he did fine.

Natasha lightly knocked at your door, waiting patiently. The door opened to Loki, clearly uncomfortable by the slightly familiar situation; as you were too. "Hey, Fury's calling for you both," with that, she nodded to herself and left.

Loki turned to you, holding out his hand, "Let's go." You took hold of it as you got closer, getting wrapped in his arms as you walked on and he shut the door behind the two of you.

"-here they are." She said, looking back to you both for a second. "Good. Okay, so, Clint will be back and he will be joining you on this one-" "Me?" You interrupted. "... the Asgardians. You three and Clint will be on this one." "I don't think that's going to work Fury." Natasha said. "Well why the fuck not?" "Not on the best of terms..." "Who?" "The brothers..." "Again? Why the fuck did no one tell me? Whatever. You're just going to have to suck it up, deal with it, and get on with it. I'll keep it in mind next time," He sighed disappointedly, before carrying on with the explanation.

The four of you moved out, having to take a vehicle to the place. You all ran into the action and helped out. "I'll be up top," Clint said as he left to get a higher view point. The tension between Loki and Thor was odd; weaker on one side, but it was definitely awkward. Trying to take your mind off of it, you looked at the situation, thinking of how to attack it and bring it down.

Loki swore under his breath, back as straight as ever, he hid himself from everyone's eyes, besides you, the police, and the other two. He walked in and caused some trouble between the women and men trying to fight off the police. A few turned to eachother, getting distracted, and ended up getting shot by the police — falling to the ground in unspeakable pain. While a few arrows were shot by Clint from a high distance, Thor started taking down people at the front, helping the officers move further in.

You sighed, seeing them at work, thinking how they didn't need you. Hiding from eyes, the same as Loki, you took down people by running in great speeds and throwing them aside. You took them down, one by one, leaving them tied up against walls in fear from the inability to see who had got them; others were knocked out from the impact against the wall. You carried some shot bodies to the side, tying their hands and legs to make things a bit easier. Although some accidental cuts were on you, from swung knives and weapons, there were no major injuries... physically at least.

At the end of it all, you helped carried the unconscious or (unintentionally) killed bodies to the front and into police vans (or one of the many ambulances to fix them up before they were sent away). You were doing well for the most part, until the end. You were helping an unconscious woman, who was beginning to wake after a few steps. It took her a moment, but eventually, she began screaming.

"My child," She screeched piercingly. You didn't understand at first, looking at her with a concerned expression. As soon as her, blood covered, shaking hand lifted from her stomach, a wave of guilt filled goosebumps covered you. You knew you didn't shoot her, you couldn't have, you didn't have a gun, but her child. Her unborn child. Another scream was then heard, but from behind. A cry. "Honey!" You turned, turning her with you. Clint was holding another woman; the one who screamed. "I'm so sorry!" She sobbed by your side. The two cried, grieving their deceased child; they didn't even meet their child. You looked to Clint, clearly shaken by the situation but he nodded and told you that it'll be okay. 'How was this going to be okay?!' You thought, turning back around and taking her to the ambulance.

You stayed with her, as she cried, saying how 'stupid' she was for risking it. You pitied her. "Y/N?" You heard, immediately turning to the voice; too shaken to realise who it was. "Stark-?" "Please, please, really? Tony. It's Tony. T-O-N-Y." He said, slightly uncomfortably. "I was passing by and saw you here; Fury send you?" You nodded. He asked why you had 'such a long face'.

Stepping away from the ambulance, you whispered what had just happened. "Fuck," He raised his eyebrows, "Don't take it so hard, Y/N. It's not as if you did it to her or anything." You nodded, "The thought, of being in her shoes, it's..." "Not great, I know," He put a hand on your shoulder and smiled hopefully a moment later.
