"Thank you, we all really appreciate this. You all did what we couldn't for a long time." Lori nodded and smiled gratefully, looking over to the children for a moment through the glass, "Send Y/N my best wishes (and thanks) along with an apology for what the situation got her into, and thanks to Loki too." "We will," Rogers nodded once. After a quick wrap up, Stark and Rogers (along with the rest of the search team) headed back to the house.

As Loki tried to figure out how to help you with Midgardian medicines, and stuff, you smiled weakly to him while he wasn't watching. "Why are you smiling?" He asked, not looking up to you. "You always try so hard," Your heart warmed in care as you watched him clear his throat after shifting for a moment, "Thank you."

"Pardon me, but did I just hear someone call me? I'm terribly sorry, I think I should leave..." He joked, his cheeks a warm pink as his eyes rolling up to you and he grinned. "I will not let you leave," You muttered. You both smiled at eachother for a moment, before Loki sighed and gave up with the Midgardian methods and changed back to the ones he was most comfortable with — Asgardian. "You didn't have to try that way first," You told him. "Only for you, I did." He whispered in reply; his partially formal tone making you drown in your feelings.

Moments passed and you were happily patched up by, your one and only, Loki, waiting for the rest of them to return. As you laid on the sofa, your head on his laps, he looked at your bruised features; whispering how much he worried about you and missed you while you weren't with him. Even though smiling still hurt a little,  you did it for him. Your brain cried at how stupidly long you waited to tell him how you felt, how long it took you to realise, how long it took you to know there was no one you'd rather be with than him.

Turning his head, he held your chin and kissed you in the most delicate and precious way. "I would say get a room, but we haven't got time to wait for you two to be done in there," Stark said, walking in loudly, making the two of you pull away awkwardly — as you thought about the words: 'get a room' in too much detail. "Is Fury on his way?" Loki asked, changing the subject quickly. Stark nodded as Rogers replied, "Turns out that he's pretty close by with a plane."

Roughly 30 minutes had passed before Fury actually arrived, and you all got on board. "It's nice to see you alive, Y/N." Fury smiled. You smiled and nodded to him. Soon, resting your head on Loki's shoulder; eyes shut.
