Thinking about what you and Natasha were just talking about, you soon wondered about how different things had got between you both, while you walked to your room. You remembered the last time you saw him, that single heartbreaking tear that dropped, to now. 5 years of not seeing eachother, really did change a lot.

You walked into your room, shutting the door behind you, and smiled hugely. You cupped your own cheeks, trying to convince yourself you weren't smiling this bad. The intense amount of happiness you felt made you want to squish your face, squeal and just melt onto the floor. Your heart sparked, slowly warming you up; inside out.

As you sat on your bed, you looked down, trying not to smile as your cheeks began to ache. Running a hand through your hair, you tucked your chin to your chest and took a deep breath. You were so glad he was back, you were glad things were better than normal, you don't remember the last time you felt this happy. Your shoulders hugged your neck, after you put your hands down. You'd give anything to express to him how much he actually meant to you. You wanted to jump from the roof and cut through the clouds, feeling the wind brush past your face. You could explode, releasing millions of unsaid emotions.

You thought of the hug you shared yesterday; the warmth of it. How you wish you could throw your arms around him again, feeling his own around you. Still smiling stupidly, you couldn't stay alone any longer, you were getting out of hand.

Rushing out of the room, you headed for the livingroom - hoping someone was there to keep you company. "So now- oh- there you go." Stark said, getting up, "Y/N can sit here with you." "Excuse me?" You asked, then looking to Loki.

Your world stuttered for a moment, your heart boiling and spilling out of it's cages. He smirked his smile to you, making you smile warmly to him. "Turns out, the other day, he left one of his puppets, or whatever, with Rogers and came here by himself." You giggled to yourself, Loki heard, but you just nodded to Stark. "I- I will stay with him, do not worry." You smiled and Stark left.

Sitting by Loki, you smiled to him, your stomach secretly swirling. "So, you left one of those and came to sit here by yourself?" He nodded, "I need my own time too." "Even from me?" His comment hurt you for a quick moment. "Y/N, you are the only exception." His words made you bubble, and although you wanted to hug him there and then, you felt too awkward and nervous to.

"But, I must say, do like your colour choice today." He said. Looking down, you noticed that you had involuntarily worn his green colour for your top to go with your black trousers. You stuttered, "Thank you, Loki." Goosebumps ran over you as you said his name. He chuckled.
