Although you were still feeling some of what was going on before Thor and Natasha came crashing in, you were more embarrassed and regretful. Your face was burning, your stomach sick that you were seen in that way by anyone but Loki; by close friends.

After the two were back in the room, Loki sat by you on the bed. Even though it was clearly a serious moment, you were drowning in the image of his bare chest.

"Children?!" Thor said, in disbelief, as soon as he had walked in. "Thor, be quiet," Natasha said, before apologising slightly awkwardly. It was silent for a moment, you didn't want to speak and Loki (from what you could tell) didn't want to forgive it.

A few moments passed and Natasha spoke again, since she wasn't going to let Thor. "Well, we didn't just come and ruin things for nothing, but I don't think it's the right time so-" "Not the right time? Yes it is!" Thor interrupted her furiously, "Here, there is me, feeling so horrible and yet these two are making children!" "We have names." Loki said — monotone — while the irritation could still be heard. "Why don't you just fucking say it, if it's so bothering," Natasha told him, rolling her eyes in annoyance at Thor's childish behaviour.

Even though he looked like he was about to cry, Thor yelled through his teeth that he felt abandoned by Loki, as if Loki didn't care as much for him, that Loki didn't see how much he meant to Thor; etcetera. "You feel abandoned?" Loki said, in that monotonous way again; irritation slipping through. "Yes. You have never seen how much I care for you, I care just as much as Y/N does. Why do I get treated differently?" Although Loki saw flaw in the way his message was delivered, that it could have been taken in a weird way, he pushed it aside and let forcefully low levels of anger seep through him. "If that were true, why were you not there for me as much as she was? Why did you leave me and never come to see me? I tried for you, before anything, even when you were so caught up in your friends and their games. Why did you never even seem as if you wanted to be around me? Were you embarrassed of me? Are you still? A lot can be said, Thor, don't try to blame me for your mistakes-" "My mistakes? Loki, if I had never even spoken to Y/N on that day, when we were all children, you would not have stopped speaking to me-" "Because Y/N was there, I am still alive, I still have hope that I will never be so alone again!" "Was I not enough?!" "You were never even there!" "I was more than you realised!" And with that, Thor stomped out of the room and left Natasha wide eyed — although she soon followed in a rush to make sure he was okay.

You didn't blink throughout the whole of the argument, you just sat staring down to the covers. You heart was beating horribly fast as you stopped breathing for long moments at a time.

Loki let out a deep, angered, sigh; trying to calm the, still, tense atmosphere in the room. He turned to you and softened his face slightly, "I'm sorry." He then cupped your cheeks with his slightly warm hands, pushing back your hair. He apologised a few more times in whispers, as you started to wonder whether it's your fault that everything bad has happened — everything bad concerning the brothers and their family. You felt tense but smiled unhappily to Loki. He kissed your forehead and whispered everything to you: how important you were, how much you meant to him, everything.
