"Again?" You hummed in response, "Seems so." Loki gave a sigh, and the two of you walked closer to the relatively small group of protesters with Steve and Tony.
"You need to leave-" Tony tried to announce. "Why should we?" A voice yelled back. "Because you're protesting at a campaign that's trying to get men and women to have equal pay?" "Why should women have equal pay to us? Men do all the work!" "What about women who do the same jobs as 'men's jobs'?" Tony asked. "They should be in the kitchen!" Another yelled, leaving Tony baffled; not only because they ignored his question.
"So you're saying that Y/N is worth less than me despite the fact that she's working as hard, if not harder, than myself?" Loki spoke in. "Yes! I doubt she can even work as hard as you," Someone stepped out and replied, pointing angrily towards you. Just as you felt defensive and were about to answer back, Loki walked closer towards them.
"What makes you think that you are even as good as she is?" He asked grimly, staring hard down towards him. "I am a man-" "But I thought you spoke of how men were not weak." "What did you just say?" "Do you really need me to explain?" Loki asked, smiling oddly with irritation behind his eyes.
"Okay," Steve stepped in, standing in the small gap left between the two, "Let's break it up. I want you all to leave immediately," He turned to Loki and muttered, "Back away, we don't need this."
Natasha kicked up high. "Eh!" Abigail made a sound as she copied, not really getting as high. Natasha chuckled, doing it again; letting her copy. Abigail jumped and hit her feet back down as hard as she could; happily. Getting down to one knee, Natasha smiled, "Good job, Abigail!" Holding her hand out, Abigail highfived her and giggled, covering her mouth with her open hands.
"I know," Steve sighed, "Please, calm down next time though, Loki." As Loki muttered, annoyed, under his breath, he sighed and watched as the small group could no longer be seen. "Shall we leave?" Tony asked. Steve hummed. "Maybe we should stay a moment longer, they could come back," You said, looking down the path they left, then to Tony. Steve nodded, agreeing. "Alright then."
