Eyelids heavy, you open them with a forceful blink; suddenly squinting at three rows of light shining through a metal door. Staying still, you put a hand to your forehead as you recalled what happened. After humming to yourself, you looked around. You were in a tight, metal, space alone — if anyone else tried to get in you, both, would be squashed. After reaching out to feel the sturdiness of it, you awkwardly stood up to look out of the small gaps that were letting in the light.
There wasn't much you could see, but it seemed to be rather empty and quiet on the other side of the door.
Meanwhile, Rogers and Stark were back from the building — after searching the whole place twice in one go. Rogers out his hands on his waist, "Call Fury." Stark nodded, and called him; telling him what had just happened.
After Fury got the call, he went over to the tower and decided to fill the guys in. "A dropping noise?" Loki asked firmly, "Is that all?" "Yes, and she was gone," Fury responded, "I was hoping you weren't listening actually — but, Romanoff, see what you can do with Banner while we send over some help. "I'm going." Loki said, inviting himself. "Loki, we can't just-" "I am going." Loki yelled through his teeth. As Natasha put a hand on his shoulder, that he pushed away, she convinced Fury to let him go after she had calmed him down. "We'll have to see." Fury said, immediately leaving before Loki got the chance to speak again.
"So, are we going to calm you down easily-" Natasha paused as he swiftly turned and left the room; shoulders tense and hands into fists. Sighing deeply, she looked in the direction to his room, then the lab. Straightening her lips for a moment, she partly jogged over towards Loki's room.
It took a few hours, but after she had managed to get him to speak and understand that he would get you back soon, she ran down to the lab and explained everything to Banner and Thor. "How is my brother?" Thor asked, eyes slightly widened in fear that Loki had done something. "Somewhat content to wait for Fury to pick him up later." Thor nodded, adding that he'd speak to Loki while she worked on her task with Banner.
Thor quickly walked to Loki's room, knocking in a rush to hear his brother's voice in a safe space. "What?" He heard lightly, letting him open the door with a controlled swing. "Natasha told-" "I do not wish to speak about it." Loki shut him off quickly, making Thor stop in his tracks and look; sadly.
Thor understood that Loki was acting this way because of the way he was feeling, but it always dug at him — hurting him. Thor let out a silent sigh, "Brother. I understand that you are worried but-" Loki yelled back, "How could you possibly understand?" His body tensed and blood pumped through him heavily. Loki's face began to burn a hateful red as his eyes shined with a sad gloss. Thor clenched his jaw, feeling as if he was thrown away, "I have worried for you, have I not?" "You have not." He growled back, springing up from his bed, and staring Thor deep into his eyes.
Both of their hearts ached, for different reasons and more so with each beat, but kept their cheeks dry. Thor suddenly feeling disheartened (once again by Loki's words and actions) decided to leave. He couldn't stay where he wasn't wanted, not like this, not after he'd always tried so hard to build a good relationship with his brother.
"I see that you are awake." You heard a voice say. Eyebrows furrowed, you stopped leaning against the back of the small metal box and looked through the gaps. "Who is that? Why am I here?" You demanded answers. "You've been here a second time, we couldn't take even the slightest of risks." You could hear the person behind the voice shrug.
