"You may want to get out of those clothes." You told Loki and Thor as you stood up. Thor laughed, telling you to wait while he changes.

"Is it really necessary?" Loki asked with his eyebrows slightly furrowed. You nodded, "Of course it is, come on Loki. It isn't that hard for you." He sighed silently in defeat and changed his outfit to will. "Does this fit you well?" He asked sarcastically in monotone. "Black suit and tie? Are you sure, Loki? It is not a formal gathering or such. We are only driving out of the city for a while." As you questioned, he mumbled something. "What?" You asked and he shook his head. "What do you suggest I wear then?" He asked. You hummed, while thinking for a moment, "Perhaps black trousers and a top with a nice jacket? It seems most casual, from what I've learnt on Earth." You smile, proud at what you've learnt. "Very well." He changes into it, his top, of course, being fitting and green. You looked him up and down as he sat beside you.

You smiled with an idea, "You have gone a while without tying your hair up, Loki. Can I see you with it now?" His eyebrows raised, almost in disbelief, but he quickly did. Smiling widely, you said, "Loki, you remind me of the past, but it does suit you well." A small smile wiped over his lips to your comment before you looked at his outfit again.

"I know what is needed here. I'll be back." You told him, running off to your room to pick something up. When you returned, you told him to hold out his arm. "What for?" He asked, unsure. "Trust me." You replied. He did as you asked, and you put on a gold watch you had found in your first year of staying on Earth. It was special to you as the gold and the deep shade of green reminded you of Loki. "What is this and why have you put it on me?" He questioned, examining it up close. "It is a watch. You can tell time here on Earth using it; it also goes well with your look." You smile, glad with your choice. He nodded as Thor walked in. You turned to him. "Apologies, it can be quite hard putting on certain Midgardian outfits," Thor laughed. You nodded, understanding what Thor was going through.

Loki stood up, practically centimetres away from you; since you were still infront of him. "If we are all ready, shall we go?" He asked. You looked back up to him, and smiled. "Of course." The three of you made your way to the elevator and soon left the building; to a car. "You know how to work these weird machines?" Thor asked, him thinking back to when Jane drove them away. "Yes, Romanoff said it could be handy and I was taught." You explained as you sat up front, leaving the brothers together in the back.

"Could I not sit by you, Y/N?" Loki asked, before you started the car. "Why?" "I would rather not sit by my oaf of a brother." You laughed silently, "No. You will be fine Loki. Thor is not bad." Loki's face hardened and he turned to stare out of the window by him. Thor agreed, "Y/N is right, brother. I will not cause you harm."

The rest of the journey was pretty much silent, besides the music that you kept very low incase it irritated an already mad Loki. You had no idea as to why he was mad, he had been for the last few days. You wondered whether it was because he was on Midgard and not Asgard anymore, but it had only been 2 weeks. It gave you low level anxiety, what if you had made him mad? It was the last thing you wanted. You would usually be able to tell, but this time you couldn't. You may have seen everything he had been through in the 5 years you were apart, but you were not with him in the moment. You were worried you missed something, you wanted to look again but always stopped yourself. The look he had in his eyes seemed to have changed ever so slightly, and it worried you much more than his looks ever had.

You drove out of the city, and into an area of small shops. "You took us to buy things?" Loki asked, half disappointed. As you parked up, you told him, "No," you turned back to him, making him look back to you, "I want you both to buy your first item, that you can keep, on Midgard. It will be fun, it must be special to you. Nothing just for the sake of it, okay?" They nodded and you all got out.

Walking through the car park, you finally made it out and started looking at the different places. "Do any of these places catch your eye?" You asked the brothers. "What about that one, Y/N?" Thor asked, pointing to a shop with a giant gnome on the outside. "Are you sure, Thor?" You said, one eyebrow slightly raised. He nodded and you all made your way over.

Walking inside, you chuckled, "As I thought. This is a gardening shop, Thor." "A what?" He asked. "If you want to grow a plant, this is where you come." You explained, watching him being fascinated by the strange items inside. "I wish to grow a Midgardian plant!" He announced with a huge smile, making someone turn back, now looking at the leg-sized gnomes on the floor. He picked one up, "You shall help me." You and Loki laughed and soon you explained everything.

You all spent a while in there, helping Thor pick out a plant and items to go with it. Loki was pretty quite, but he did help with the styles of the pots and types of plants. And although you hate to admit that your a little too short for it, he helped you to get the hard to reach items too while Thor was head deep into staring at the packets of seeds; even after you'd helped him pick one out.

"Looks like you're getting comfortable here, Loki." You said to break the silence as you waited for Thor to stop. He nodded, "I'm stuck here, so might as well, even though I did try to rule this place." You chuckled silently, and nodded. After Thor returned, you payed for them quickly and left. Thor thanked you as you answered Loki's question as to why you gave the shopkeeper a piece of decorated paper. "Anywhere catching your eye?" You asked him but he just shook his head, looking around.

"Thor, is that you?" The three of you turned to a voice. It was a girl, a few years younger than us. She had long wavy hair and a huge smile on her face. Her eyes glued to Thor, but stopped to Loki when she saw that we were Thor's company. She gave a blank expression first, but slowly a smile appeared. "It was Loki, right?" She started, "Wow. I can't believe I'm talking to you." Her eyes sparkled and your eyebrows furrowed. "You should totally call me some time," She told him, giving a little sigh as she reached into her pocket to grab a little note. You quickly yanked Loki's arm, hugging it as you held it close, then hissed with squinted eyes, "Sorry sweetie, but no, he's with me." If it were possible, flames would be coming from your face right now. The girl stared at you, wide eyed. "Oh jees, sorry." She looked away and left, and you watched her go with a dirty glare.

You sighed out violently and straightened up. The boys were dead silent, you couldn't even hear them breathing. You turned to Thor and he looked at you in complete shock. You then turned to Loki, now with an eyebrow raised, and he gave you the same look but more secretly. "What?" You asked, now uncomfortably clearing your throat and letting go of his arm. "What was that, Y/N?!" Thor was now laughing loudly. "She was so obviously following us! I didn't like what she was doing!" You replied defensively. "You have never done that before!" He said, now calming down. "I've never needed to..." "Because no one has ever done that to Loki before." You clenched your jaw and looked over to Thor for a second, then to Loki. His eyes were very slightly widened, lips awkwardly straight as he kept his gaze forward; posture being tensely upright. "Let's carry on," You coughed, your cheeks now a little flushed from embarrassment.
