You threw on a black tank top with some skin tight shorts, that stopped a bit away from the top of your knees. Slipping on trainers and black hand braces, you tied up your hair so it was out of the way. After looking in the mirror, to check that everything was in order, you left your room, shutting the door, and headed to the training area. Rarely, but it did happen, when you were making your way there, you'd remember when Rogers first took you to this place and helped you to start a nice routine.
Although you were much closer to Natasha, than the rest of the guys here on Earth, Steve always offered you amazing support after you had finally been able to tell them all why you seemed so sad all the time. It didn't take that long, since they really did believe in you, considering you weren't exactly a real threat last time you were here. Rogers helped to really motivate you and take your mind off of Loki, Thor and Asgard. Now that you had thought of it, you never really got to repay him for being there for you.
You walked through the doors, noticing someone following you, but you ignored it and decided to start off slow. You stretched a bit, really focusing on loosening your body up before you started. You kept going, even when you felt eyes burning into you. "Loki, what are you doing?" You suddenly asked. You heard a small sigh, then looked up to him; now visible. "Well, I was watching what you were doing." "You do not have to hide," You smiled, then doing the last few stretches. "It is considered weird to do that on Earth-" "Ah, but no one would notice besides you." He grinned. Chuckling, you stood up straight and asked who he was with today. "Well, I am supposed to be with 'Captain', but he asked me to meet him here while he went to get something," He explained. You raised an eyebrow. "I swear." You nodded.
Almost 10 minutes after, you were running from point A to B and Steve walked in. "You actually got here, I was afraid you'd leave." He said, slightly impressed. He then looked over to you and smiled as you slowed down at point B. You stood upright, panting only slightly and smiled back. You took a deep breath after 15 seconds and were ready to go to the next activity.
You sat down on one of the mats and started touching the tips of your shoes with your fingers, keeping your legs completely straight. You wanted to do a bit more today, but decided not to since there were others in the room with you. A smile slowly grew onto your face as you listened to Steve ordering Loki. He hated it, you could tell, he always has, but you still smiled. It made you laugh knowing how frustrated he was getting, although he was mad, it was sweet that he seemed to be genuinely trying.
Another 10 minutes passed, and now you were using a pull up bar. After a 60 breather. Since you had done quite a bit of training back on Asgard, things were easier for you than most people starting out. Rogers was shocked, since he thought you were lazy and pampered kids, spoilt with luxuries. You changed your legs, so now the other foot was resting on the other calf. You kept your gaze forward, keeping a firm and determined expression. That was before your eyes fell to Loki doing push ups under Steve's watchful eyes. Another smile came to your face as the door suddenly swung open.
"Banner?" Thor announced, staring at you as you caught his eye first. He grinned, walking over to you. "Y/N? Smiling at Loki, I see?" Without realising, your hands relaxed as your eyes widened and you fell to the floor; Loki's arms giving out and his head turning over immediately. You groaned in a choke, resting your forehead on the ground. Thor laughed, offering to help you up. You sighed deeply, then got up. Rogers then spoke, eyebrows slightly furrowed, "Your face is quite red, Y/N. Are you okay?" "Yes, I am. And it is because my face just hit the ground. Not because of Loki, Thor." You answered, lips tightly sealed after. You saw Loki stand, Rogers allowing it, just over Thor's shoulder. "If that is why your face is red, Y/N, why were you smiling at Loki?" Thor questioned with a smile. "Because it is funny to watch Loki doing Midgardian training." You answered sharply, straightening your posture and clearing your throat. "If I may add," Loki started. "It is equally funny watching you do them." "Are the both of you secretly bonding? Forgive me brother, Y/N. I shall leave the two of you alone." Thor quickly left, with a grin, before either of you could say anything and your jaw was left hanging slightly.
Rogers stood awkwardly, not knowing how to react. "Shall I..?" He started, mumbling the rest. "No! No, nothing is happening Captain. Thor is just mistaken, you see." You explained, awkwardly with a chuckle at the end. He nodded. "I think my time to baby sit Loki is done anyway, you're next Y/N." He laughed and left, telling Loki to clean himself up; making him sigh.
When the two of you were finally alone, you blinked blankly to eachother. You felt so horribly awkward, no thanks to Thor. It would not have affected you so much if you had never left Asgard, but because you had, you picked up a lot from Earth.
