You sat, cross legged, on one of the chairs like you did the last night. You stared outside, to the stars, wondering why you were here.
You heard a creak, and turned with raised eyebrows. Rushing, quietly, to your feet, you put the chair back. You gulped, looking down, and held onto the bottom of your top tightly. As he walked over, with his hands behind his back, he looked outside to where you were. He then turned to you, so you were both facing eachother.
Immediately, mid-blink, you felt a comfortable warmth surrounding your body. Although you froze and stuck to your position, you blinked like mad - hoping it wasn't a dream.
"I do appreciate what you do." He whispered lightly into you ear, recalling what you had admitted to Natasha earlier. As he slowly felt your hesitant hands wrap back around him, he tightened his own; pulling you closer in.
"Why-?" You barely managed to choke out. "You did say that you wanted to hug me and cry..." You heard him say, showing a little bit of weakness in his voice; for the first time. Burying your head into his warm chest, your smile quivered. "I don't want to cry right now." After feeling his hot breath pass your ear, brushing your neck - from his angle - the hair on the back of your neck stood up. "Sure?" Was all he whispered and you nodded, shyly.
You, oddly, started feeling wamrer and warmer the more you both held eachother like this. Pushing it aside, you stood with him; knowing that he wasn't going to let go unless you wanted. It was new, this, but you enjoyed it as you sparked up inside.
You felt his head move, looking out and down to the people you had seen the last night. "Maybe we can do that," He came back and whispered to you. Shivers ran up your spine, realising what had just happened; also noticing that he knew about the last night you were here.
Moments passed, neither of you let go, but you finally moved to look up to him. You could see his pink cheeks with the little amount of light, smiling that he was nervous about this like you were. "It was intended, by the way." You hummed, in confusion. "That smile, so long ago? I meant to do that at that time." You muttered, asking how he knew. "I could hear you whispering to yourself," He smiled. "I- I- didn't think it?" The top of your ears burnt in embarrassment. He shook his head, his smile turning into a grin.
"I can see a lot in your eyes." Shutting your eyes, you smiled playfully, "Now you can't."
The sudden feeling of his lips being pressed against your forehead, made your eyes shoot open and your stomach to fill up with butterflies. Your cheeks grew warm, as you looked straight into his greens. He had a similar expression to you. As your heart began to race, sizzle and burn, you both quickly moved away from eachother with a gulp.
He had done it before, but the situation was different. Now? Now you had no idea.
You both spent a moment looking away, slightly awkwardly and uncomfortably. "Sorry." "No, it's- I- sorry." "It's-... yes." You both searched for words, unfortunately ending it with those.
After a moment, to catch up with what had just happened, you two stood side by side. Loki looked outside, as you stared down to your feet. "So..." You started, finding a way to bring up the question, "Are we alright?" "From what?" He asked. "What happened?" "Did something happen?" "After..." You looked to him, to see him smiling slightly. "Nevermind, I am sure, it just was a nightmare." You said, smiling too.
