I'm trying to find a audition song and monologue for my school's musical in the fall.

I want to get a minor role. So. Dam. Bad.(PJO fans will get that reference-)

But my song choices and my mom telling me essemble is the best bet screws me over every time.

Anyway, your supposed to audition with you singing a Broadway musical song or a Disney song.

And I always choose songs with male solos, because apparently Broadway songs with male vocals are easier than ones with female vocals to me? And I'm a girl? And you're apparently supposed to audition a song that fits your gender?

*sigh*

So yee

I need some help picking my Broadway song as well as my monologue to audition for it. I know it's early, but it's better to plan ahead, right?

Some notes:

-I'm a second soprano

-My range is F2-G3-Bb4

-my school usually does comedy type musicals

-Monologue searching is hard

-same with Broadway songs that are in your range and are not male solos or male duets

-I get slight anxiety when I sing sometimes(This happened when I auditioned for 'the Pirates of penzance'. Surpringly, I got in-)

-my casting types are little kids, minions(not the despicable me ones), psychopaths, teenage characters, and maybe Damsel in distresses?

-what was typed above wasn't really important

-oh well

-I just need help with audition songs and monologues—
