A note to little me

Dear seven year old Kat,
I know you're upset right now, and I know why. It's because you want to sing, and you like to sing, but people keep telling you to shut up and that you can't sing. Let me just say, don't give up on singing. In the future, in eighth grade, you join a choir class and become a soprano. People still shun you for your singing voice, but will you listen? No. When it's your freshman year, your still in choir, but you get angry because your choir teacher makes you an alto rather than a soprano. But soon, that rage faded away when you got a new choir teacher sophomore year, and halfway through the year, your voice improved and you became a soprano again. After that, people start telling you that your voice isn't that bad. Junior year, your still a soprano, and now you can sing softly, use mixed voice, and sing higher than what you used to sing. And starting senior year, your going to be in chamber singers, which are singers of the advanced level. So don't get discouraged and emotional by everyone letting you down because of your singing voice. Don't give up on singing, because if you gave up, you wouldn't be able to hit a high b flat when your seventeen(B flat is a note that you sing).

You got a big future of singing, little me. Just practice and don't give up.

Sincerely,
17 1/2 year old Kat.

(Note:
Because of finals, I got out early and I'm posting this.
Also, I'm posting this because I found out I got into Chamber singers next year, which are the heathers of choir, just excluding the part where they're mean.
When I found out, half of me was:
My dreams to becoming G(a)linda from Wicked are slowly coming trueeee-
Also, I might get a minor role next year for the musical because I'm going to be in chambers! Woo!
While the other half was:
Wait, I screwed up my audition to get into chamber singers because I had a sore throat that day-
HOW DID I GET IN-?!)
