Scenario: Reader-Chan is an abused child and Levi comes across her and has to help for personal reasons.

{Levi's Point of View}

"Tch. What are we doing here again Erwin?" I walked around a very poor stricken area within Wall Maria. This place may not have been underground like where I'm from, but I can promise that it's just as bad.

"We have a mission to meet someone for some important information. Why? Do you hate it here that much? Does it remind you too much of home?"

"Tch." I clicked my tongue extra harshly. "That place was never my home."

I looked around and my eyes caught the attention of a very young little girl. There were girls, who were much bigger than her, surrounding her and pushing her around. I paused in my tracks. I didn't bother to worry about following Erwin. For some reason, I felt the little girl draw my attention. It took me a moment to figure out why but I quickly figured it out. She looked just like me when I was that age. She was beat up and dirty with (your hair color) hair down to her shoulders and a large white torn shirt over her tiny fragile looking body. She was just a kid and yet here she was.

I took a deep breath before approaching the kids. The turned to face me and I could see the fear in their eyes upon seeing a man in a uniform.

"Tch. Scram." Without having to say anymore words, they all immediately left. I looked down at the little girl who looked away in what appeared to be shyness and fear. I bent down on my knees to be closer to her and patted her head. "It's okay. You're okay now." I stood back up to walk away when I felt the little girl tug on my uniform's cloak.

"Don't leave me." I was shocked to hear her words. I was expecting a 'thank you,' but not those words. But for reason, I think I needed to hear them.

I turned back to her and got on my knees once again. I pulled out something from my pocket that I never thought I would be willing to part with. A knife. But it wasn't just an knife. It was a knife I've had ever since living in the underground.

"Take this. Take care of it and it will take care of you." I patted her head once again before taking my leave.

~Time Skip: Ten years later~

"Levi. It's time to greet the new recruits." I rolled my eyes upon hearing Erwin's words.

I hated greeting new recruits. I always had to show them who was boss by kicking their asses. It was time consuming; considering I had better things to do with my time. I didn't bother to look at all the newbies as I said stood in front of all of them lined up.

"To show you brats who's in charge here, I'll be needing a volunteer."

Of course no one was going to volunteer upon knowing that I was humanities strongest... or so I thought.

"I volunteer." (A/N: I was about to put 'I volunteer as tribute' and in my head I was like, 'No Angelica. That's the wrong fandom' 😂)

Upon looking to my side to match a face with the voice, my jaw nearly dropped and my heart nearly stopped. I knew that face. I knew that face very well. There was no mistaking it. That belonged to the face of the little girl I saw nearly ten years ago.

"Captain. I said, I volunteer." I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Hand-to-Hand combat." I took a few steps back and took my stance. "Get ready." She took her stance as well.

Our spare quickly took place but I was out of focus. I was completely sure that that was her. She had to be the little girl from ten years ago. Despite being out of focus, I still managed to win our spare. She was good. Really good. She had clearly been training.

After our spare, I'm sure I got my message across the newbies, and dismissed them. The girl however, didn't follow them into HQ. She walked back up to me and I held out an object I know all too well.

"It's been ten years, but I thought I'd finally return this."

I couldn't help but smile. "It is you."

"So you do remember." I grabbed the knife only so I could shake hands with her. "I'm (your name)."

"Captain Levi, but you can just call me Levi."

"Well Levi. I joined the Survey Corps because of you. The day you handed me that knife, was the day I decided to change my life around. I decided that I wanted to be like you and find you. I'm glad to see that you're still alive after all this time. I'm honored to meet the man that saved my life formally."

"I only handed you a small keepsake of mine." I looked down at the knife. "And I think that you deserve to keep it." I held it back out to her and she gladly took it with a smile on her face.

"This knifed saves my life more times then I could ever possibly count. So, you did save my life."

"Well, we have plenty of time talk about everything... if you want that is."

She smiled brightly again. "I'll be more then happy to talk about everything with you."
