Scenario: Reader-Chan is a cadet in Levi's squad. One day during training Reader-Chan noticed that Levi doesn't feel well. Out of concern for him, she checks in on him but that simple check in turns into a confession.
~Levi's Point of View~
"Hmm." I groaned in pain as I let my head rest on my hand. The sun was scorching hot as I was out training the cadets and it felt as though it was burning through my skull. My head throbbed and I felt dizzy and nauseous. I couldn't bare to stand outside anymore and once I went it, I doubt I would come back out.
"Captain." I looked up when I heard the voice of the only cadet I cared about, (Your First Name). She looked at me with worry in her eyes and a faint smile on her (lip color) lips. "You seem a little dehydrated. Perhaps you should drink some water." I took the bottle of water she held out for me and began to open it. "Don't chug it. That will only make you sick." I did as she said and didn't chug it; but I was going to if she hadn't said anything. I took a few sips but it wasn't enough. I needed to go inside.
"Let everyone know they're dismissed for today." I turned by back on (Your First Name) and started to walk to my quarters. In the moment I couldn't even be upset with myself for making (Your First Name) dismiss the others. I returned to my room, closed my door, and let my body sink into my bed. I truly felt awful. Thirty minutes had passed and I could longer just lay in pain. I didn't some medicine. I walked to my door to open it and was greeted with a surprised (Your First Name) holding a tray with a bowl of water and a rag with something else underneath it. "What it is?" I managed to mumble out.
"I noticed you didn't feel well. I came to take are of you."
I felt dumbfounded. Take care of me? "Tch. How'd you know I didn't feel well."
(Your First Name) made herself passed me into my room without my permission. "You'd never talk to me like the way you did outside. You also never dismiss us early." She sat on my bed and patted the spot next to her. I rolled my eye, took a deep breath, and closed my door before walking to her side. "Sit beside me." She urged me and I finally did so. She suddenly placed both her hands on my face and looked at me. "Just as I thought. Your mouth and tongue are dry, your cheeks and eyes are sunken in, your skin is dry and cool, and last but not least you have a migraine. Your severely dehydrated." She reached under the rag and pulled out an IV bag with its tube and a needle.
"What do you think you're doing?" I jerked back slightly.
"Don't worry. I know basic medicine. It will only pinch for a second." She grabbed my arm and forced it where she wanted it to lay. She pulled something from her pocket and wrapped it around my arm before sticking me with the needle and holding the IV bag up. "Once this is done dripping you should start to feel better. Meanwhile you should lay down and placed the IV bag above your head." She stood up. "Well, I'll be going."
"Wait." I stopped as upon taking her first step. She looked back at me and I suddenly felt nervous.
"Would you like me to stay?" She seemed to have known what I was thinking. I didn't respond but she smiled and sat beside me either way.
There was a silence. "Did the cadets say anything when you dismissed them?" I tired to start a conversation.
(Your First Name) scoffed. "All of us honestly needed some more sleep so everyone was happy to go back to their rooms for the day."
I looked at her eyes to notice she had bags under them. "Are you tired as well?" She nodded a yes. "Then why are you helping me?" I questioned.
"It's like I said, you never talk to me like you did earlier and you never dismiss us early. I knew you weren't feeling well which is why I brought you the water bottle but when you walked away I became very concerned. That's not like you Captain." She looked me in the eyes and I truly felt her concern.
I looked down. "There's no reason to be concerned for your captain."
"I'm not concerned about you because you are my captain. I'm concerned about you because I care about you." (Your First Name) snapped on me, surprising me beyond words. She sighed and looked at me once again. "What I'm trying to say, Levi, is that I like you and I was worried you were going to pass out." I blinked a few times to make sure I was breathing and alive, not just imaging what I heard. "You don't have to return my feelings but you should be more careful."
I couldn't find any words to say and so I tried using actions instead. I grabbed her by the wrist and made her lay down with me. "Don't jump to conclusions. I didn't have a chance to respond." I placed my chin on top of her head and I could feel her blush it was so obvious. "Thank you for taking care of me." I whispered into her ear.
"Levi, I..."
"Shh. You're going to have to get used to sleeping in the bed with me from now on. It's one of the rules I'm enforcing on you as my girl." (Your First Name) turned her body around and buried her face into my body. I smiled happily. I would have never guessed that I would confess like this, much less that (Your First Name) would confess first. I was definitely already feeling better.
