Scenario and A/N: Hey guys! So part 2 has been requested by @External_Flame_22 . Part 2 is put into the point of view of Hanji. External_Flame_22 wanted to know what others did and so I decided Hanji would be the best person to talk about this. Spoiler alert, at this point Erwin is no longer with us in the oneshot so he won't be mentioned. I hope you guys enjoy!
{Hanji's Point of View}
It was sad. What was happening around us. Cadet (Your full name) was sick and she was dying.
Everyone loved her. She was cheerful, kind, loving, and well...everything nice. So naturally, there were tears shed once news spread of her illness. But nobody, no body was taking as hard as Levi.
I have known Levi for a long time and yet, I don't think I've ever seen him cry so much or show so many emotions for that fact. Not only did he show sadness but he showed love. Something I thought he would never do. And who did he show that love to? (Your name).
Even through she knew she didn't have long to live, she gladly accepted Levi's love and loved him back. At first, it almost felt like nothing was wrong. Levi always stayed beside (your name). They laughed together and shared their lives for the remainder her own short one. But than she got even sicker out of nowhere. She couldn't laugh without coughing. She couldn't walk without crying in pain. She couldn't do anything.
Levi helped her do everything. He was there for her and though it was hard while training the new cadets, it never stopped him. They truly did love each other. And I knew that love would last forever but I never expected it to all end the way it did.
(Your name) died. She was gone and so was the Levi I knew. He watched as her body buried and then he later buried her ashes in a real grave. The two days she was buried, he never left her grave sight. I brought him food but he never ate any of it. When it rained I brought him an umbrella but he refused to use it. After those two days, he trapped himself in his office. I had to pick lock off the door to keep bringing food to him. But just like the first two days, he never ate.
I took care of his cadets and put my research on hold. I tried everything I could do. I tried talking to him, tried being his shoulder to cry on, but he refused everything. Even his cadets were worried for his health.
It was a couple of weeks after her death and he had dropped most of his weight. He was pale and looked like he could have been one amongst the dead himself.
Finally, during the third week of (your name)'s death, he walked out of his office. I was in the mess hall at the time, watching over his cadets, when he walked past me with a knife in his hand. It was (your name)'s knife. The only thing he had left of her.
I knew what he was going to do. There was no question about it but when I tried to stop him, he held the knife up to me; silently threatening to kill me if I got his way. I knew not to take my chances. I knew he was humanities strongest and could probably take me even if he was weak.
I stayed back. I stayed back and I let him kill himself. It was thirty minutes he had been outside by her grave and when I went to check on him, he was lifeless. The only thing on him, was a smile and (your name)'s knife lodged into his side. His blood covered her grave name.
I felt helpless. I couldn't do anything for either of them and now... now I had nobody but the cadets. But I couldn't give up or I knew the world here above ground, would fall to the titans.
I buried Levi's body and buried his ashes next to (your name). I even had a grave made for him as well. Their graves had only two things:
(Your full name).
I love you.Levi Ackerman.
I love you to.
