Scenario: It's the first break everyone has gotten in a long time. Everyone has plans to go out and visit the city or do something else... everyone but Reader-Chan. Even Levi had plans, though they weren't all day long plans. Once Levi returns to HQ from the city shopping for tea, he runs into Squad Leader Reader-Chan and sees her wearing a casual outfit for the same time and vice versa. What happens when Levi finds Reader-Chan too cute and can no longer hide his feelings for her and vise versa?
{Levi's Point of View}
A break. A very long overdue break and we all finally got one. I finally had time to go to the city and buy my own tea. I have long awaited this break and thank goodness it was finally here. Though I didn't plan on staying away from HQ the whole day, I still thought it would be nice to have all of HQ to myself. Peace and quiet and no annoying brats or four eyes. Perfect.
I entered HQ through the first entrance which was connected to the mess hall. Upon looking up from opening the door I was met with a sight I thought I would never see despite dreaming of it. There was Squad Leader (your name) cooking and singing as she did so. She wore a high waisted short skirt with a blouse and flats. Over her outfit was an apron and she let her hair down which I never saw her do considering she had it up all the time due to work. She looked absolutely adorable. I just couldn't handle it. At least not internally. I hadn't even realized that my grip on the bag of teas I brought, was loosening.
Plop.
{Reader's Point of View}
"Huh?" I turned around and saw Levi standing at the door of the mess hall.
When did he get here?! How long has been there? How much of my singing did he hear? I wanted to blush furiously as I was slightly embarrassed and completely in awe at him in casual clothes. He wore black pants with a belt and a white button down shirt tucked in. The first two buttons of his shirt was unbuttoned and the sleeves were rolled up. Gosh he was hot. How he was he so hot casual? I mean he looked great in his uniform because let's face it, men look good in uniforms but wow! He just looked so good casually.
I looked down and realized some tea from the bag Levi was holding had fallen out. I walked up and bend down to pick up.
"Captain." I said as I extended my hand out to him with the tea.
"Squad leader." He said after a second of what appeared to be a daze and grabbed the tea from me.
"I wasn't aware anyone would be here at HQ today. Have you had dinner? Or would you like me to make you some?" I asked heading back to the kitchen.
"I wouldn't mind." He came towards me and placed his bag of tea down on the counter. "You can pick the tea we drink with it."
I smiled as I looked into the bag. Levi did always have good taste in tea. My eyes twinkled as I saw all the different teas Levi had brought. It wasn't everyday we could have fancy tea. After our personal supply runs out, we are stuck with good old regular tea supplies to us monthly.
"It's not everyday we get fancy tea, huh?" I said watching Levi take a seat at one of the mess hall tables.
"Unfortunate for those of us who actually like tea."
{Levi's Point of View}
(Your name) giggled knowing all too well what I meant. She, after all, also liked tea.
I was t for sure where our conversation was going, if going anywhere at all so I decided to change the topic.
"I've never heard you sing before. You should do it more often. You sing well."
I watched as she blushed and looked down. She was cute when she blushed. I wasn't for sure if she was going to say anything but that's when she started singing again. I sat in silence as I listened to her soothing voice. Maybe I was enjoying this all too much but either way, I was enjoying it.
It didn't take long before she had our plates at the table. My eyes were gifted with the sight of a beautifully fancy cooked meal. It looked like something that slop of our king eats.
"I'm impressed." I said our loud not meaning to. She only giggled at my words. "What exactly is it all?" I asked curious.
"Crispy shrimp with pepper jelly and herbs is the main course of the meal. And the side dish is sweet corn succotash. I have dessert in the fridge."
I honestly had no idea what she said however it sounded good, looked good, and smelled wonderful.
"Out of curiosity, what's for dessert?"
"I kept it simple... cream puffs."
"I didn't even know we had these kind of foods."
She laughed. She had a perfect laugh. I could listen to it all day and night.
"It's basically our one day vacation. I can bring out the fancy things to." She referred to my tea and I knew it.
Before saying anything else I decided to taste her cooking. A dream I had before and now was making a reality. The only difference, you could taste in real life and not in a dream and in this case, it was more than could have ever asked for.
"This is the best thing I've ever eaten. How come you've never cooked here before? Or at least for me because I'm completely sold on the fact that you can make anything delicious."
She blushed and laughed. "I really glad you like it."
"Like it is an understatement."
She giggled again. "Well I don't think the meal would have been complete without the tea you brought so I have to thank you."
"No need." I said causing her to smile widely. Such a cute and pure smile. I wish I could see it everyday. "So I thought everyone would be out today. Did you not have any plans?"
She started fiddling with her fingers wrapped around her tea cup. "Honestly... yeah. I didn't have any plans. The survey corps has been my life for so long, it honestly feels weird doing anything else. I don't even know what to do with myself on free days so my plan was just to catch up on paperwork and hopefully get ahead."
I sat my silverware down and took one of her hands in mine. "Forget the paperwork for today. When night falls, let's watch the stars together. I know how much you like to do that."
Her eyes sparkled and her smile was all I needed to know she approved of my idea.

"This is the best. Thanks Levi." (Your name) thanked me as we laid on a grass hill and watched the stars together.
I turned and leaned on my hand to watch her instead of the stars. She turned to face me not long after and for the first time, we shared a kissed; only to be followed by more for the rest of our lives.
