{Levi's Point of View}

"Poor (your name)." I heard Hanji sighed as she took a seat beside me at dinner.

"Tch. What seems to be the problem?" I said, clicking my tongue and holding my tea cup.

"She's having trouble with the new cadets. Quite frankly, I don't understand how they even passed the training corps. She's been working them night and day to prepare them for the upcoming expedition and I think she's slowly beginning to pull her hair out because of it."

"She should just let them be. They'll get their shit in gear once they see a Titan for the first time."

"You know you wouldn't even do that to our squad." Hanji looked around and saw one of (your name)'s cadets. "Jean! Where's (your name)?" Jean only shook his head, giving Hanji the answer she needed. "Not coming to dinner again, huh? I wonder how long I'm supposed to just sit on the sidelines until I say something to her?"

"Tch." I stood up from my seat and grabbed my tray. Not an ounce of my food was touched as I didn't have appetite from Hanji's conversation.

"Huh? Levi?" I didn't respond to Hani as I simply made my way up to (your name)'s office.

I didn't bother to knock on (your name)'s door as I kicked the door open with my foot.  "Oi!" I came to a dead stop as I saw (your name) asleep at her desk. She had one arm stretched across it and her face rested on it. I shallowed upon seeing her peaceful figure. There was a lit candle and upon closer inspection she had stuck a nail into it. There was a secret to waking up on time if you didn't have someone to wake you up. You would stick a nail in a candle which you knew how fast it burned. When it burned down to the nail the nail would fall and make a noise loud enough to wake you up. By the looks of it, she had it set so we would wake up right before dinner ended. I sighed and looked at (your name)'s sleeping figure. The bags under her eyes grew day by day and it was evident she was at her limits. Her lips were bloody and cracked and her hair was in a messy bun. She wasn't taking care of herself. Her skin was paler than usually and her face seemed slightly thinner. She was too focused on her cadets to even give a passing thought to herself. How come I didn't notice how bad she had gotten. I lower my head and clenched my fist. I took a deep breath and walked over to her bedroom to grab a blanket. I covered her up and blew out the candle. I wasn't going to let her wake up any time soon. She needed rest above all.

~Time skip: The morning~

  {Reader's Point of View}

"Mmm." I groaned as I brought my head up and looked around. Why did I feel so well rested. I was only asleep for thirty minutes top... My thoughts came to end as I realized it was sun light outside. I jumped out of my chair, dropping a blanket I don't remember putting on myself, and made a run for the dining hall. No one was there but I did hear voices outside and so I barged out there. As soon as I opened the door I saw Levi ordering my cadets around. Completely confused, I stared blankly at my cadets.

"You're finally awake."

I slightly jumped up upon hearing Hanji's voice and turned to my side to see her seating on a bench. "What time is it?"

"About one in the afternoon." I mentally flinched. "Levi said something last night about how you needed to rest and he was making sure you did so."

I stood in thought for a moment. "Hanji."

"Hmm?"

"Did Levi come to check on me last night?"

"Yeah, why?"

My eyes widen. It was in fact a secret, even to the observant Hanji, that I had a major crush on Levi. I mentally banged my hand against a wall knowing he had visited my room last night and even covered me up. I looked awful. I still do but he saw me up close! Oh gosh. He probably thinks I'm a huge mess!
