Scenario: What day is the best day for someone to confess their feelings for someone else... valentine's day of course! Reader-Chan is a Corporal just like Levi but confessing his feelings for her on valentine's day turns out to be harder than he expected when she's being bombarded with confessions from others. Will Levi be able to confess to Reader-Chan and will Reader-Chan accept his feelings or someone else's?
(Levi's Point of View)
It was late into the night and everyone in the survey corps had gathered outside around several bon fires to celebrate valentine's day as soon it turned midnight. It wasn't a holiday the survey corps cared about but all the cadets did. They were able to convince most of the higher ups to stay up late into the night and of course majority rules. I normally would consider such a thing idiotic however, this valentine's day was different. (Your name) was a beautiful corporal who I had feelings for since the day she joined the survey corps, but I had never gathered the courage to confess to her. This time would be different. I had planned out just how I wished to confess to her. We often chatted with each other. Matter of fact, she was the only person I would willing chat with daily and quite a lot through the day as well. As time was drawing near for confessions to start, I decided to go ahead and put my plan into action.
"Tch. All these brats seem excited to celebrate something so useless." I sat by (Your name) on a log as she watched our cadets from afar. She chuckled at my words.
"The holiday itself may be completely fake but I wouldn't say its useless. It gives courage to people to confess their feelings to one another. And if someone already has a loved one, it gives them one day of the year where they can go out for their loved one."
I raised a brow. "Do you believe there will be any confessions tonight?"
(Your name) shook her head. "I don't know about that but I do know the cadets love a reason to convince us higher ups to let them stay up late."
I scoffed. She was right about that. "I'm surprised Hanji isn't over here bothering you. I would have guessed she would have been glued to you tonight trying to see if you confessed to someone or if someone confessed to you. You two are close after all."
(Your name) rolled her eyes as she looked my way. "Oh she's tried. I told her not to bother and after repeating myself what feels like a billion times, she left me alone. If I was lucky enough to have someone confess to me, they would run away after Hanji intervened." She laughed for a second.
"Lucky?" I questioned. It sounded as though she didn't believe anyone would confess to her.
"Well... yeah. I've been confessed to by cadets before but lets be honest, it's not like they like me just for me. I'm their role model. Someone who bosses them around but does so nicely. They're with me so often that it's not uncommon for them to simply view me as another girl around them. But that's not the case. I'm not just another girl around them. I'm their Captain and shouldn't develop such relationships with them. Not that I'm interested in dating someone who is such much younger than myself anyway."
"Is it not nice to be admired?"
"It is but I want something deeper than that. I'm not so young anymore and the world isn't looking as bleak as it use to with your squad being around."
"I guess..."
"It must be close to midnight. All the cadets are starting to return to their rooms and come back with gifts." (Your name) interrupted me but it was probably for the best as I wasn't for sure what I was going to say anyway. "Look at that. Jackson is headed this way towards me."
"He does make it plan obvious that he likes you."
"I know but I wished he wouldn't approach me. I feel guilty rejecting my cadets; especially since I still have to face them in the morning." (Your name) sighed. "Well, there no point in procrastinating, am I right?"
