Trigger warning: Depression

Scenario: Levi has known that since Reader-Chan has joined the survey corps, she has been emotionless; however, he likes it as he doesn't find her annoying like everyone else. What he doesn't know is that it's because Reader-Chan is depressed. When he sees that she hasn't shown up to any practices for some time and can't be found, he begins to worry and looks for her. (A little bit of language in this oneshot)

{Levi's Point Of View}

Again. She didn't show up to any practices again and she hasn't shown up for dinner either. Where was she? What was she doing? Why haven't I been able to find her?

"Levi?" I snapped out of my thoughts hearing Hanji speak to me as she leaned her head in front of me at our table. "Are you okay?"

"Tch." I clicked my tongue.

"Oh. I don't see (your name) here today at dinner again. Did she show up to today's practice?"

"No." I simply stated trying to keep my cool.

"Egh." Hanji seemed engaged in our conversation about (your name). "I'll have to find her and make sure she is okay. I hope she's been taking her medicine." She whispered the last part and I didn't catch what she said.

"What was that?"

"Ah. Nothing." Hanji left the table and I could guess she went to run experiments.

I sighed as I watched every cadet leave one by one to their rooms for the night. I still sat at the table even though it was probably the middle of the night by now. My thoughts flooded with (your name) and (your name) only. Looking down at the table lost in thought I hadn't realized someone came in the dinning hall.

"Captain." I heard my rank in a familiar dull nonemotional tone. It was her.

"Cadet (last name). Where have you been?" I tried not to act angry but deep inside I was.

"Not at practice obviously." She simply stated and sat across from me with a glass of water in her hands.

"No shit brat but that's not a reason as to why you have missed practice for several days in a row and haven't even bothered showing up for dinner."

"I just haven't." Looking at her head hung low made think something was seriously wrong but I wasn't for sure how to ask. "I'm leaving. Night." Her voice almost sounded as if it could have been dull and almost harsh.

"Oi! If you don't show up for practice tomorrow than I'll make you run laps all day."

She glared at me with an expressionless stare. "I don't care." And with that she walked off leaving me completely shocked.

~~~
She wasn't here...again. What the hell was her problem? And what was all that last night? I sat at the same spot at dinner and once again (your name) hadn't shown up to practice or to dinner. To angry and confused I didn't bother staying to long at the dinning hall after all cadets left and went straight to my office to work on paperwork.
I opened my eyes to see it was dark outside and that I was at my desk. Did I really fall asleep at my desk doing work? I got up and made my way back to the kitchen to make my usual tea. As I finished making my tea and turned to see (your name) with her head down across from I usually sit. I sat down in my usual spot and realized that she was asleep. I look at her as she did so and it was than I realized how peaceful she looked.
For a girl who seemed so emotionless...her sleep looked the complete opposite. My hand immediately moved on its own upon seeing a few strands of her hair fall onto her face, and moved her hair behind her ear. She turned a little and mumbled incoherent words that made my smile softly to myself. She was adorable. If she smiled I'm sure everyone would think that.
Suddenly a heard a small drip and looked to see (your name) crying in her sleep. "Help." She whispered and turned her head.
Why was she crying? For a girl who was always emotionless, she showed a lot of it during her sleep.  I whipped her tears away and stayed there with her all night, just watching her cry and whisper 'help' every now and than.
~~~

"Huh!" (Your name) snapped her head up quickly which made me give her a look. "How long have I been here?" She asked sounded tired. For once she sounded like she could have actually had some emotion, but just slightly.

"All night." I said drinking some fresh tea.

She rubbed her eyes. "How long have you been here?"

"All night."

She looked dead at me and blinked a couple times. "Why?"

"Just because."

"That's not an answer." She... sounded angry?!

"If I didn't stay than you might have work up, disappeared, and never showed up to practice."

"Lier." Did she just...?

"For someone who always seems so unemotional, you sure seem to have a lot of different expressions this morning."

"Ugh. That's because... that's because you're here." She looked away and I could have sworn I saw a blush on her face.

"What do I have to deal with it."

"Well that's because... because I don't feel so empty around you."

Huh? What was that?! "What does that mean?"

She sat down as she was standing up from snapping up. She looked down. "I'm surprised Hanji hasn't told you."

"Told me what?"

"About my depression."

"Aren't we all depressed here?"

She smiled. It was small and almost seemed as if it could have turned into a crazy's person laughter, but it didn't.

"My depressed started long before joined the survey corps. Joining just made it slightly worse. No. Matter of fact, I joined because I had nothing left in my life."

Woah. She was being honest suddenly. "I know. I've read your profile and it's completely blank. I heard once from Hanji when you first got here that you didn't have anything and that's why your profile was basically blank and your room was practically empty. I just didn't know you had such a serious mental issue"

"Since getting depression I've become rather emotionless however for some reason you change that." She held her hand to her heart. "We barely speak to each other but we are similar in many ways."

"So I've noticed."

A silence fell upon us and I wasn't for sure what to say but seeing her look down to the table with a blank expression caused me to grab a hold of her hand and hold it tightly.

"You're not alone. I'm here."

She looked up at me slightly surprised and I smiled at her. She immediately brighten up and smiled back at me widely. As I thought, she had a beautiful smile and I wished to cherish it forever. I would make sure of that.

"Okay."
