{Reader's Point of View}

I saluted my older brother, Commander Erwin Smith, as I reported my arrival to the Survey Corps HQ.

"Phft." Erwin suddenly laughed.

"Hey?!" I snapped at him, obviously knowing the laugh was aimed at me.

"Sorry. This just doesn't suit you at all. You hate obeying me yet here you are saluting me."

I rolled my eyes as I stopped saluting him. "You're a jerk, you know that?"

He shrugged. "I'm just playing but in all seriousness, it really doesn't suit you."

"I'll keep that in mind every time we're near others and I'm supposed to salute you."

Erwin laughed. "Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, have you eaten anything for dinner?"

I sighed and pouted, knowing I was starving. "No. Not yet. The travel here was awful and I haven't even starting unpacking."

"Dinner here has passed but we can always go down and cook something."

"And by that you mean that I can cook something, right?"

"Absolutely."

"And it's times like this I'm really going to miss living close to a town." Erwin stood up from his seat as he wrapped his arm my neck.

"Get used to it because unlike me, you'll be staying here at HQ 24/7."

I sighed. I was way too hungry to cook but I guess I really didn't have a choice.

~Time Skip: An hour later~

"Wow." Erwin smiled brightly as I placed a bowl of stew before him. "It's been a while since I had anything to eat made by you. It looks good."

"Of course it does. I made it." I joked around with my brother as we both blew on a spoonful of stew and took a bite. We both hummed in bliss as my stew was just as good tasting as it looked.

"I knew I smelt something!" I watched a woman with brown hair tied back in a ponytail and glasses approach us. She looked down at Erwin's bowl, as she approached us from behind him, and I could have swear I saw drool escape down her lips. "Oooo." She cooed. "That looks delicious... give me!" She tired to Erwin's bowl but he moved it from her.

"Did you come down here simply because you smelt food?" He asked her.

"Not just any food! I can tell this stew taste amazing just by its smell and I need some!" Her eyes gleamed, as if she would die if she didn't take a bite of my stew. "But I know there's no way you made this so who did?" She stretched out the word 'who' as she looked up and saw me. "Who is this unknown being before me?" She questioned as she grabbed Erwin's shoulders.

"This is (Your name). My little sister."

She stared at me in silence for a second and I decided to speak. "Hello." I waved my hand for a second.

"YOUR WHAT?!" She suddenly shouted but stopped when a piece of folded paper hit her on the back of the head.

"Keep it down four eyes. You'll wake up the cadets." I looked passed Erwin and the woman to see a stunning man. I felt myself shallow hard at the sight of him.

"Short stacks!" She ran up to the man and I had wished she called him by his name so I could know who he was.

"Don't call me that." He spat out harshly.

"Look! Erwin has a little sister!" The man looked my way and I nearly jumped up as my heart skipped a beat.

"We'll clearly she's the one who cooked as Erwin can't."
