Requested by: @KCCourtneyx . Hope you don't mind but I decided to also make you a squad leader in this; anyway, enjoy! P.s: I know this is like super late so please forgive me!💕
Warning: self-harm (A/N: If you're ever feeling depressed and feel like you need a friend, I'm a friend! 💕)
Scenario (mostly made up by KCCourtneyx): Levi and Reader-Chan are best friends. One day Levi and Hanji find Reader-Chan self harming and Levi can't handle it. He decided to help her and also confess his feelings.
{Levi's Point of View}
"Tomorrow we are having a free day." I spoke to (your name), a fellow squad leader who I happened to be best friends with and secretly love. "Do you have any plans?"
She hummed in thought. It was currently late and she was chillin in my office as I finished up paperwork for the night. "I don't think I had any plans in particular. What about you?"
"I plan to go buy some more tea in town. Would you like to tag along?"
"Sure." I stacked up all my now completed paperwork and enclosed them in a sealed pocket envelope; ready to be mailed out to Erwin. "Well I know we have a free day tomorrow but it's still rather late. I should head off to bed now. I'll drop your paperwork off to the mail room while I'm on my way out."
I handed her the rather tick envelope. "Thank you."
"Of course, anytime." She smiled but for some reason her smile just felt different.
"(Your name)." I called out her name as she was exiting out my office door.
"Hmm?"
"You know that you can come to me for anything, right."
She weakly smiled. "I know Levi. Thank you."
~Small time skip: the next morning~
"Hey (Your name)." I entered (your name)'s office unannounced and watched as she quickly hit something in her desk. I just shook away her suspicious behavior, trying not to think much about it. It may have just been something from her family that she wanted to keep private. "Are you ready to head out?" I asked, reminding her that she said she would join me for tea shopping.
"About that. I'm not feeling all too well today. You wouldn't mind if I just stay behind and rest, would you?" That was odd of her.
I nodded. "I understand. I'll make sure to buy some herbal tea for you. It should help."
She gave off that weak smile again and nodded with a hum. "Thank you and be safe."
I nodded and took my leave, thinking about what could possibly be wrong with her health wise. Perhaps she was acting odd because she wasn't feeling good. That would explain things.
"Hey Levi." I rolled my eyes upon running across Hanji as I tired to make my leave. "Huh? Where's (your name)? I thought she would be going out with you today."
"She said she didn't feel well so I should go without her."
Hanji hummed and tilted her head. "That's odd."
I looked at Hanji, now knowing I wasn't the only one who found (your name)'s actions out of the normal for her.
"Isn't it? She isn't smiling like she usually does. Usually her smile brightens up the entire room but since last night, it's been sad."
I probably shouldn't be giving Hanji hints that I loved (your name) but this conversation had to happen.
"Maybe we should spy on her and see what's going on. I know you probably planned on buying tea but don't you think it's more important to keep an eye out on the woman you love."
I felt embarrassed. "Who said I loved her?!" I slightly raised my voice at her.
She grinned mischievously as she bumped my shoulder with her elbow. "Nice try but it's obvious."
I rolled my eyes. "Fine. We'll just check in on her and then we'll be on our separate ways."
"Deal." Hanji kept the grin laced on her face. We quickly and silently made our way towards (your name)'s office where she had the door slightly cracked. Upon peaking in, she wasn't anywhere to be seen. "Where do you think she could be?" Hanji asked in a whispered.
"Maybe her bedroom?"
Hanji silently opened the door wider as we practically crawled our way to her bedroom; as officers had their bedroom attached to their office. My eyes widen upon the sight before me. I looked up to her Hanji and her expression was just the same as mine. I pulled Hanji by the arm and drug her out of (your name)'s office and across the hall into my own.
"What the hell?!" Hanji shouted and I had to cover up her mouth with my hand.
"Be quiet before she hears you and figures out when we were in there spying on her."
Hanji pushes my hand away. "Did you not see that?! We have to stop her." Hanji tried to prance say but I grabbed her wrist and stopped her. "Let me go!"
"Stop it and hear me out." I snapped, slightly raising my voice.
Hanji snatched her wrist from me but awaited to hear what I had to say. "You already know I love her so let me be the one to handle this."
I could see a fire light up in Hanji's eyes. "Are you going to confess?!"
"Tch." I rolled my eyes. "Just shut up and let me do what I have to do. I took a deep breath before waking back to (your name)'s office. "(Your name)." I called out her name before entering her office. I could hear her gasp and try to hide her secret before entering her office.
"Hey Levi. I thought you were going out?"
"That was the plan but then I decided that I have to tell you something."
"Tell me something?" She tilted her head in confused and gave me a fake chuckle that almost felt real.
"I know you've been harming yourself but I'm not hear to lecture you on stopping. I'm here to tell you that I have feelings for you... no, that I'm in love with you. And I'll do anything and everything without my power to be here for you and help you get through whatever you're going through. You can trust me."
She looked down, as if she was ashamed. "I'm sorry. I didn't know how to tell you that I was harming myself. Well... I didn't know how to tell you that I loved you too but that's besides the point."
I smiled and scoffed at her words before approaching her and taking a look at her wrist. Hanji and I caught her in the middle of cutting herself and that's why I had to come and confess.
"You really cut yourself deep. You got blood everywhere. Let her you cleaned up..." I kissed her forehead before looking into her (your eye color) eyes. "Okay?"
She nodded. "Okay."
